I started a new thread for this, since this one starts with the hex and decoding the instructions/movies.

v: ‘Eddie’ gets the girl (eventually).
is from Hiding Out..
or I assume so from what I read in the Wikipedia entry about someone with the psuedonym "eddie" getting together with the girl in the end... if you've actually seen the movie feel free to correct me...
isn't being up at 5 am beautiful?

The second list is double bagged as well, coded in base64 and hex, for anyone who wanted to see the original.

We were saying we should each pick a movie to watch and find the connections. The only one I know for sure is in my house is Cruel Intentions, so I'll take that movie.

x: The county recorder has no listing for Consumer Recreation Service or any derivation thereof.
This is from "The Game".

sooooo for some reason you're supposed to match order of the quotes with order of the movies? and then what?

thought it might be useful to have the imdb links here... it may help to read the summaries.

from the instructions it looks like matching the DVDs with these hints is part of it, but there is something else (just given how the instructions are worded). and each hint isn't a quote.
so once we figure it out I suppose we need to watch the movies/scenes in the hint to find the pattern?

Are you sure that they're not quotes?

i think some are and some are just hints about the movie. could be wrong, though.

Some hints sound like commentary on a movie (or a scene).
From the profile:
"Finding the Order is simple. As long as you watch each one closely (and can spare the hours, of course). With any luck you'll work past any 'identity' issues to make the necessary connections as well."
"As well" at the end suggests 'identity' and 'connections' are secondary elements.
So that would make the first part the main objective?

P could be Gremlins. The late night decision of feeding the evil Mogwai which turns them into Gremlins. Definately would go with P.
