LG15: Despite the aluminum foil walls, this is actually one of the nicer rooms we've stayed if for a while. Owen and Thor have made a new friend, but P. Monkey isn't really thrilled with the situation.

(Pan over to LG's dog who is presently using P. Monkey as a chew toy. Stuffing is strewn all over the floor)

(Cut to LG who notices something on Bree's back)

LG: HEY, BREE? WHAT'S THAT MARK ON YOUR BACK?

(Bree looking uncomfortable)

LG: YOU'RE A WATCHER!

(LG grabs the gun from Daniel, who had just began to practice cleaning it. Bree yelps as she knocks over the webcam. The sounds of a struggle off camera can be heard)

I thought the dog disemboweling him would do it....but I am not sure about puppet anatomy so a bullet should take care of a rabid monkey

Digressing from the vampire/LG15/Jonas/LG storyline (which I would like to see).

I am still confused by the possible addition of Jonas to the storyline.

I am still not sure how people would want additional characters to be brought into the story. I think a slow introduction of a character makes sense. And slipping him on the YouTube as opposed to constant responses on the LG15 main page seems to make sense. I think people would be more up in arms if suddenly Daniel jumped on the horn and called up someone he knew, and this someone ended up at the hotel door to save them. Or if there was a video suddenly of someone who came on the scene like Gemma did ("Hi, I'm Gemma. I know Bree, and you'll be seeing me for awhile.) As someone who studies and teaches stories all day long, I have had to view these videoblogs as an alternative and different form of storytelling. I look for less literary devices and elements of fiction and expect more visual teleplay/movie script kind of elements (and of the latter, I'm no expert, just a viewer).

I am really curious about how people would like an additional character (like say for instance, uh, I dunno...Jonas, perhaps) to be brought into the story.

I only ask so I get a better understanding. I'm not asking sarcastically, bitterly, confrontationally or anything. (After all, I didn't write the story.) Just in a plot structure kind of way.

I think folks' responses could be very interesting to me. (Please indulge me.)

(Yikes, look at the time! I have to get my brood off to Thanksgiving at the relatives'. For those who celebrate it...Happy Thanksgiving!)

*edited to add: I'm sorry. The "I didn't write the story" bit is just a strategy I use in class when students express their opinions about a work they hate. For example, when we study Moby Dick, someone always says, "I hate this story" as if I am going to run out of the room crying. I usually respond, "Sweetie, it's okay that you don't like the story. It's not like I wrote it...But I am teaching it, and you will read it, so get out your book and notebook and let's do some work."

Jonas hardly mentions Daniel or Bree in his videos. Just once.. so he doesn't really seem to care much about them.

Besides, where can the creators get such a big expensive house for shooting?

Yeah... thanks a bunch for the sarcasm. Forget the house. What I'm saying is Jonas only talks about himself, he seems to be oblivious to the world outside his house, so it doesn't look like he's going out looking for them or to help them. And I don't see how the duo could coincidentially meet him.

See. You note the sarcasm but not the "Happy thanksgiving at the end". Damn you!. And this wasn't that of a sarcasm actually. Did you read the Wired article on LG15? I think that's Miles, he actually borrowed some money from his parents to be able to make LG15. Bree's bedroom is Mesh's bedroom and Daniel's is Miles'bedroom (or the other way around) Anyway, they use all the resources they can to make this. A big house is not that difficult to find I guess. And with the success of LG15, It can't be that difficult to get an acquaintance to help them with that.

That is actually the whole question debated on this very thread.

Inigo I agree that there is no sensible way for him to coincidentally meet B&D (he's mentioned that he watches their shows, implying he is a fan like us and so it can't turn out they are friends or something).
However, when you were writing that stuff about how he's oblivious to all things outside his house... didn't it remind you of anything, like say an early Bree?
I've looked into this more, because the notion that this crap is canon scares me, and have found small little things which point to him not being canon by the creators. These are just little things which are more details and not be-all end-all, he still could be. I think the bottom line is that his camera quality and production value is way too good to just be some random kid on-line, he's either done by a group of people trying to piggy-back on the LG fame by copying it completely, or he's canon. Those are the only two possible options, he's definitely not just 'who he says he is'. I'm praying it's the first option, because that means it's less likely this will catch on.

So, you may right about the House. Sorry for sounding so hostile. I would'nt walk if Jonas turned out to be canon, but I like the way things are right now: Just B, D & G (I'm not watching Op Aphid).

Like everyone else has pointed out, Jonas seems to be too childish for his age. If I had so much money, I wouldn't be cooped up in my dad's library all day. I would travel the world.

By the way has anyone tried contacting Jonas?
