OPAPHID IS CANON

Haha, now you know exactly how the original fans (like me) felt on September 8 when The Creators posted a messaging saying LG is fake.

Meanwhile, as someone who never even saw an OpAphid video, I am dismayed that it's canon. I mean I guess it's my fault for not having followed it, but as the number 1 (former) fanfic, its disappointing to know it's likely involved too. Is there any fan thing NOT connected to the creators?

For the sake of argument, I also am an LG fan, and have watched it since the very first day bree posted. I am just MORE disappointed with the Op situation because it is more interactive.

okay so i've been researching opaphid for hours now. it's still kind of hard for me to grasp, but sure. i'm no good with numbers. i'm much better at theoretical analysis, which was more prominent in CiW. oh well though. i'll let you smart people do that.

i just need a few things explained.
is tachyon the girl that gemma mentions who disappeared leaving sasha behind? and if so, that means that her parents and brother left without her, much like bree's parents, and she's all by herself?

also, does the "brother" have a youtube account?

I don't quite understand what OpAphid is either. Is it a person? Is he/she the leader of the Order? Or is it just the Order in its entirety?

And where exactly does Cassie tie into all of this? I know that OpAphid addresses Cassie in its videos. Does this mean that CiW was canon too? Or does it refer only to the Cassie mentioned in LG15 videos?

OpAphid is basically the order....

cassie is tied in... the first few op vids were about cassie... op has referenced her as "casandra" a few times...

as far as the girl who disapeered, we arent exactly sure of Tachyons identity.

It's a lot to catch up to.

For the sake of argument, I have also noticed something interesting reading between the lines with this and the Wired article.

We know that OpAphid is connected to LG15 now, but we still don't know who exactly is doing it. We also don't know how much the LG15 will continue to influence the storyline. OpAphid has had its own stories existing in the same universe, as well as crossovers.

It reminds me of comic books. There are different X-Men teams, and while they team up occasionally, they also have their own adventures.

Don't worry sugar. We're constantly asking within the group for info when we miss it too. Romy got the bulk of it but let me add that Tachyon has, in the past said something like "I'm glad you're not my real brother". We think the family stuff is code name BUT we were thinking the same thing about Tach possibly being the other girl.

I also think it's important to note that this announcement isn't the Creators taking anything away from US.

They are acknowledging us and this thing we've been a HUGE part of.

The disclaimer rap is just to disuade anyone from stalking people behind the scenes (because there's been a history of that).

Personally, I hope this ultimately leads to OpAphid dispatching of the Danielbeast, or something cool like that.

But Tachyon seems to have her own story and world that a lot of us find more compelling, so I doubt it's going anywhere.

Another idea I had is like Buffy and Angel. Two seperate series, but same universe, acknowledgement, crossover. I will spare any Star Trek references though, because I'll be damned if I've been following the Deep Space 9 of the series!

I'll stick with thinking of it as Buffy/Angel

As far as Bree has told us, she disconnected herself from Bree BECAUSE of the "religion." Also, is the girl in OpAphid's video anyone I should know about? Does anyone know who she is?

Cassie was more of nod than anything. OpAphid used Cassie's popularity at the beginning to draw an audience. OpAphid would be trying to shut Cassie up, because Cassie (or CIW) tried to expose the order. I have no idea who the girl is supposed to be..

i didnt get into LG until brees 4th video. But I was with CiW form the begining and I was with OpA from the begining. I am truly disapointed
