That's ok. I won't pretend to be anything I'm not... I did a pretty cool story on the whole thing, though!Flautapantera wrote:Eh...you still haven't redeemed yourself for the non-hippie-ish-ness. I wish they had those kinds of protests over here. The only ones we have are "Freedom Walks" or something of the like.

Have you been to Arlington Nat'l Cemetery? That is...wow.Broken Kid wrote: Hmm...in college I was once forcibly picked up by a security guard when we were trying to stage a sit-in to support a decision that was going to fire a whole bunch of faculty and bring in new people. But not arrested.
Edit: Oh, and I was in DC when the protest/riot happened. They don't have good riots in this part of NY state either... The funny thing was, we were actually in Arlington Va, and when the people found out they weren't in DC itself, they were disappointed. heh...all for publicity.
Yep, I used to live in Arlington/Alexandria area. You know that Arlington Nat'l Cemetery is one of several national cemeteries. I found another one in Alexandria that's a lot smaller, but really cool...all quiet and deserted, but with all these great monuments to soldiers from early wars.Flautapantera wrote:Have you been to Arlington Nat'l Cemetery? Isn't it terrible you can't find a good riot anywhere? Man!
Ooh...sit-in...
