People ought to just tell their kids right now, "Sweetie, singing these geigh songs and jumping about like a drugged Barbary ape isn't gonna do crap for you when you grow up... except maybe get you on one of these dumb shows."

I would, except that I've based my career on doing just that. I own a dance studio, so I'm always encouraging not only my own children but others kids to jump around to crazy music and let the music inspire them creatively.

Sorry! *has guilty look on face*

In a dance studio is fine, but when that's the only programming that, say, the Disney Channel offers in the morning, one might as well just read to the child, anyway, do something that'll engage his hungry brain.

Have you watched it lately? Anyway, I was talking about a particular kind of programming they vomit of late, not indicting the entire bloody channel.

It's a tie between that and All of My Love... but D'yer Maker probably wins because you get more strange looks when you sing it in public. (Nothing like starting out in the middle of the grocery store with four or five "Oh"s!)

Hehe... I like "singing" part of Disturb's "Sickness" at random. That gets even stranger looks (not to mention the occasional men in white coats)

There are many Ween songs that people give you weird looks for singing. :D

Right now I'm listening to Dead Meat by Julian Lennon.

I love "Push 'th Little Daisies", but I have to say, Ween was one of the worst live bands I've seen. Doesn't help that they were between Sonic Youth (one of the best bands ever) and Flaming Lips (best live experience, bar none, period). It was like 1.75 hours of waiting at the dentist's office while hearing the sound of the drill and inhuman screaming from the next room...

Ick, I hate that song. I don't think it represents them well. I have a Live in Chicago DVD of them and it's really, really good. Have you heard anything from Chocolate and Cheese or Mollusk? Judging them by one performance and one crappy song isn't really fair.
