Hey acid, long time man.

So yea, I wouldn't characterize them as "violins" but more like a string orchestra hit. It's still not an original performance of Beethoven's symphony, as the one linked in that silly black and white video, but a remix of it. I'm sure I've heard the same orchestral hit in many remixes. I haven't heard the real mix for "plead the 5th," although the lyrics do match what I hear in the small sample we got.

As for the numbers, I believe the whole thing should be reversed, since the last sound bite was reversed. So it would probably start like, 513-55XX. Same area code? Or maybe 513-55H-EART (but that area code is in Ohio).

Heart is the third track in the album. The song's time is 5:55. Just throwing out some ideas.

Yeah Deagol, nice to see you again!

As for the Plead the Fifth argument, it can only be speculation as of now until someone can get a full version of the song so we can compare it. For now, due to the process of elimination, I think it's a good idea to at least keep the idea that 5th symphony was an additional song until proven otherwise.

As for the significance of all the numbers, I'm not quite sure... but I doubt it's a phone number. There don't seem to be enough numbers to constitute a phone number. I was thinking something more along the lines of a tinyurl, or account name (i.e. 10033)

Really have no idea at this point. I believe the hint for how to use these numbers is in the "I'll never be whole" and "Put me together"

Good point... seems odd to me that only one of the song names would have to be "interpreted" though...

OOC: addmusic3039! From Sarah's notebook! I liked your latest vid, with the mash-up music in it.

I'm not quite sure where Linc is, I would imagine he's getting pretty nervous since the 21st is approaching fast. Hopefully he will either come on the boards or come in the chat soon so we can discuss what we're found so far with him. I keep trying to piece together all of the songs and clues we've discovered by to no avail. I'm hoping that Linc possibly recognizes these numbers or has some other insight as to what they could mean.

ok I have figured out that the second song insead of being Beethoven's 5th Symphony is a disco version of the song called "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy. It is also covered in Robin Thicke's song "When I Get You Alone". I am now trying to figure out the rap heard over it.

*edit* never mind I missed a page and saw you got the lyrics

Based on the idea that the numbers might refer to a YouTube account (such as Brother back-in-the-day)
