I live like, ten miles from Santa Monica.

Santa Monica is not a bad LA gang area. You guys watch too much TV.

I could probably convince someone to take me, if no one else will go.

I know that, I think a lot of people are aware of that.
I still say gang area or not, an alley way is an alley way.

I am curious, and if I didn't live 5 hours away I would probably go check it out. BUT I would bring a posse of people with me, and I would check with the Cs first.

I have a handicap, so I use a scooter. Most of the time I'm using alleys instead of roads to travel.(have you ever tried to get a scooter over a curb?) In my neck of the woods (and it's much more dangerous than santa monica) alleys hold no dangerous lurkers or wild eyed junkies. Those are on the streets near me, not the alleys.

you have a bit of a point, now that i think of it where i go to school (which is downtown...i live in what i like to call the ghetto suburbs) they really don't bother with alleys...

Because that's the way the creators roll. Don't think they've ever actually played an ARG, so they don't really understand how it goes . . . I kind of had a hunch this is how it would play out.
