Julia's Watchers?

Evidence leans more towards the watchers being present at all times, actually.

I'm not sure I understand. Since we never actually saw them present until problems arose, why would the evidence be that they were there all along? It seems reasonable to assume the parents would be expected to handle most issues.

It would be like building a prison and hiring no guards. That's what watchers are, guards, and sometimes serving as police or soldiers (taking away Bree's family, getting rid of her dad b/c he was talking, and their attempted securing the transfer of Dan) in their own sick sense.

We don't actually know that Watchers were involved with taking Bree's parents or killing her dad. We only know that Lucy and a deacon were involved in those cases (so far we don't know for sure that Lucy's considered a Watcher).

Plus, the Order does not watch the vids as far as I know, so they would not see that Bree has changed dramatically over time.

They definitely watch the vids. This has made itself evident on a few occasions (not the least of which is when Bree addressed Lucy in "Me For Daniel," which led to "The Human Ransom").

Yeh, it doesn't seem clear which vids the order watch and which they dont. Because sometimkes their location woudl be pretty obvious by their videos, and no Order mongers appear. And other times they do.

I doubt the watchers have the luck of just driving through town to get gas, and just happen to see Bree and DB driving away.

The Order does not want the world to know who they are. So they will watch to make sure that no one finds out.

And parents are NOT effective. Every kid in the world at some point, if not almost every weekend, escaped from their parents. When you have a kid, you are not given a spider sense on where your kids are. They, get, away.

In short, almost every parent, even very strict ones, lose control. Even the Watchers lost Bree. Bree even snuck out of the house and went to a party, and driving with DB, etc.
