Bleh i didnt like it. Thery toned down the game machanics. The amount of fools that do a tranquilizer head shot and pick you up but the head then laugh their silly heads of at that image is so stupid. Other than the downtoned machanics it was a sound game.
I think MGS4 will have a similar transport thing as PO has the island and the truck you travel around in. Kojima said that you will be playing in more than one area.

MGS4 will be totally awesome, and that is probably the main reason i got a PS3
