Hi all.

I knew something was up before Alex's monologue.

"the what order?"

this jump out as just not right?

Groups that have "order" in the name tend to be "the order of the whatever", not "the whatever order".

If you want all my theories, look 'em up on the discussion page for this episode on lgpedia.

:slinks back into the shadows:
I thought it was more of "The- *pause*. What order?"

Out of curiousity... how old are you? I am nearly 25, and I have learned a lot in the last three years. Wisdom is gain through experience... at the age of 22 most people still make decisions that may not be as logical as someone who is 30 or 40 would have made. I think between the ages of 18-25 you are just getting an introduction to the real world. These are the years that really form who you are and the decisions you make during this time are still very youthful.

I agree, Joy. I'm 46, so I guess that makes me really, really wise.

Now if I could just have that 22 year-old body back (Ha ha).

Do you feel dirty for being attracted to a 19 year old character?

I don't know if this has been mention so bare with me.

What if when Daniel was capture by the order they programed him to respond to a code word or phrase and now Alex has used this phrase to keep him there with her. Because you would think that as soon as she started talking all weird he would have ran out. She is one Crazy b*tch.

I think Daniel was so stupidly infatuated with her that at first he didn't even notice her new demeanor, or thought she was just pissed at Jonas.

Then, once she told him to sit down and shut up, he was too surprised/hurt to do anything, and probably at least a little scared. I know if that happened to me I would probably just freeze and do as I'm told, at least at first.

I am thinking Daniel made it out ok. If Jonas got the camera to edit and post this video, I am sure Daniel brought it out to him.

Now if I could just have that 22 year-old body back (Ha ha).

When I was 21 I was a junior in college and still largely dependent on mom and dad. So I could see Jonas saying "She wasn't much older than me".

By22 I was just graduated and looking for my first job so I could see her being that age and Jonas still making that excuse for her.

But by 23 I was already teaching public school full time, had my own apartment and was engaged to be married.

So, I just don't personally believe, when Jonas said that Alex wasn't much older than he is now when his parents disappeared, that he could have meant Alex was over 23 at the time. I am guessing she was 22 tops, which would make her 28 now.

She went to college and did a Junior year semester at sea so I am guessing that she followed a fairly traditional time table of going to college at age 18 and graduating at 22. I would think her parents were footing the bills because semester at sea can be pricey. So I could see her not being in much of positon at all to protest against the order at that time, what with mom and dad signing her checks.

By 23, I assume she was already eating Kraft singles and Wonder bread and trying to make it as a photographer and I assume that by then she was living on her own. If Jonas's parents had disappeared when Alex was already living on her own and paying her own bills I doubt Jonas would have made that excuse for her.

All conjecture on my part really.

Oh, and I am 40 (since you asked).

20 bucks says Daniel's parents are enjoying pizza, ice cream and spin art with Jonas' parents and Bree's mom.

By 18, I was living on my own going to college, working full time and paying bills... that still doesn't mean that every decision I made was logical.
