Blockbuster time here, see you all in a bit, you know I cant stay away too long!Mirage wrote:Oh no, Holly!! That's horrible!!
Heee, QS!!I just had to do rent, electric, and cable. It was horrid.
I'll be back in a little while, folks. It's PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME here.
This past July 2 massive windstorms within 2 days of each other smashed the St. Louis powergrid. It took 6 days before I had power back. In July. I spent most of the days laying on the futon in the basement with my dogs. I was really worried about my 6 year old Shelty, she has a hard time even with the A/C on, and spends most of her time laying on tile either in the bathroom or kitchen. That was about miserable.GoodGollyItsHolly wrote:oh yeah.. the generator in my building BLEW UP! it was a smokey nightmare! I had to evacuate down the stairs from the 30th floor. and then once the fire was out... back up 30 floors, with two cats in tow. I nearly wretched it was such a workout. After about 9 hours its back on due to generators the size of tractor trailers! Very excitingMirage wrote:Eww, exercising.
