Back to watching my nice fat monthly paycheck drain away to nothing.
Fun, isn't it?

Eww, exercising. I tried it for about a week and found out it just wasn't for me.
Holly you had a power outage all day yesterday?
oh yeah.. the generator in my building BLEW UP! it was a smokey nightmare! I had to evacuate down the stairs from the 30th floor. and then once the fire was out... back up 30 floors, with two cats in tow. I nearly wretched it was such a workout. After about 9 hours its back on due to generators the size of tractor trailers! Very exciting
This past July 2 massive windstorms within 2 days of each other smashed the St. Louis powergrid. It took 6 days before I had power back. In July. I spent most of the days laying on the futon in the basement with my dogs. I was really worried about my 6 year old Shelty, she has a hard time even with the A/C on, and spends most of her time laying on tile either in the bathroom or kitchen. That was about miserable.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

6 days! That is hell! I nearly lost it after only 1 day!
The worst of it was it was supposed to be my wonderful 4 day weekend. So I didn't even get to go to work to enjoy the A/C for most of the outage. (We have emergency backup generators for work, can't have phone service going out...)
Plus a very...wonderful...giving lady who was soon to move out of town was supposed to come over to my place for entertainment over the weekend, just prior to her moving to Florida. Her power went out, my power went out, she went to her folks' for the weekend....and we never managed to get our schedules to match up again before she moved.

I'm a First Team Assistant.
Basically, my job is to keep tract of the actors. I ride in the limos to the airport to meet them, that way they have someone to talk to. I make sure they know what is expected of them, check them into their hotels, take them out for meals. I make sure they know their lines, make sure they arent dinking around in thier trailers when they should be working.
