My husband says I am obsessed with this, I guess you can say I am. I started watching the day before it all came out as fiction. I just randomly came across it one day while surfing.

I live on the Western Slope of Colorado, and we just had our first snow last night.

I relocated here from Texas, and since there are so many Texan's now living in Colorado, the locals call us Co-Tex.

Welcome, OW! :D Congratulations on having 5 children and 2 grandchildren. That is quite the accomplishment!

If I could, I'd move to Colorado in a heartbeat. Have you ever been to Estes Park? That is one of the most beautiful places in the world. :D
Haven't been to Estes Park, but we do go to Aspen alot. It's really too expensive to do anything, but we enjoy walking around the outside mall area and watching all the people. We got lucky one day and saw Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.
Colorado may be glorious to visit but i hate living here. But i must say...Estes Park is one of my favorite places EVER to go. The parade of lights at christmas time is AMAZING. Also, its not in the mountains..but Fort Collins is my second favorite place ever. Have you ever been to Silverthorne? its beautiful as well.

OmegaWoman: where at on the western slope? like nearest big city or something. I live on the plains. it sucks. (greeley area)

My name is Sara and I live in Pennsylvania. I feel like I'm writing one of those personal essays from junior high..

Anyway, I go to college (IUP! Drunktime!) and major in Art History. A lot of people think it's boring but I don't, though I do find most architecture kind of humdrum. Especially since it's hard to spell.

I like to laugh, so I try to be funny sometimes. People on this board think I'm kind of harsh, but I think it gives me a kind of Joan Rivers quality without the thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery.

I have lots of pets, including 2 cats a dog a ferret and a parrot, and in my dorm I have 2 betta fish named Monet and Ifrit. I even made a youtube video of them! It's popular among the betta videos, truly, a shining star in a sea of galaxies. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=saralynnb

Ummmm.. that's about it. I feel like we're all so close now. C'mere you!

We go to Silverthorne every year for back to school shopping. I really like it there too. I live in Rifle, which is about an hour east of Grand Junction. I actually lived in Junction for 14 years and hated it there. I have been in Colorado for 17 years now, but still don't consider this home. As I said before, I am originaly from Texas, and really want to go back- but because of custody issues with my kids, I am stuck here.

My daughter used to play softball in Greeley every summer. She was also offered a full ride to UNC, but chose to have her daughter instead. She made a wise choice. What I remember most about Greeley was the smell!!!!! Yuck!!

Oh, art history, how I don't miss you! (not my favorite subject pre 1900's...but an admirable major. I only wish my professors were less monotone.) I sympathize with you on the boringness of most architecture. Why I need to know about vestibules, ambulatories and flying buttresses I'll never know. What is your particular area of interest in art history?
