I guess I can say that I know how that feels... My family and I stopped communicating shortly after my mother's death. I think her existence was the only reason why they even tried to talk to me, at all...
i'm thinking my family doesn't like really talking to me anymore because they can't control any aspect of my life anymore, and it kills them. absolutely kills them.

Ok, that plain out is horrid. I really am sorry you had to put up with that, especially from your family. Nobody should have to deal with that--from loved ones or complete strangers.alysaface wrote:thanks darlin =)Mirage wrote:Oh Alysa, I'm sorry. *hugs*
oo i forgot to add the best part.
i was told i was being a brat, and having a bad attitude problem because i was LIVID that i spent hours slaving over five batches of pumpkin bread so everyone could have some.... and noone thought to take the time to call me.. to say.. "hey, we're about to open presents, are you guys coming? are you ok? is your car in a ditch on the side of the road?" but yeah.. i was in the wrong for being pissed.
and then i began to cry because everyone wouldn't STFU about telling me how awful i am and how i should just leave if i'm going to have an attitude.. mind you, it was a silent cry with tears streaming down..
and then i was wrong for crying. i was told to stop crying immediately, grow up, and get over it.
so.. yeah.... crappy families FTW!! lol.
*hands you a spiked egg nog* Screw them. Honestly, don't let it bother you. I know that seems trite and perhaps I've drank a bit too much to be a proper comfort, but this too shall pass. I know it seems just wayyyy too f'ed up right now, but don't worry. It will get better, I promise. And I have magic powers to make these things happen.

*super uper duper mega hugs*

i think i'm just finally done with it, i'm over being told that i'm wrong, have an attitude, everything negative all the time, when they are the only people that bring out that side of me.. just because they drive me bonkerssssssss.
heck yeah it'll get better!! i don't have to worry about driving the 30 minutes to go over to their houses anymore!! teeheehee!! and i'll even feel quite less guilty whenever we finally move out of texas!
ok seriously, enough about me, tell me about your lovely xmas experiences!!

Yeah, I hear ya. I think that's why the rest of my family doesn't talk to me, much, either...alysaface wrote:thankya doll *hugsback*kageyuki wrote:*hugs alysa* I'm so sorry to hear that, girl...

Actually, my uncle and his wife visited me when I was in the hospital this summer... They flew in from Chicago (about 5 or 6 hundred miles away.) I had just regained consciousness from being in a coma for a few days and couldn't talk. All they talked about was how much money it cost them to fly out to where I am and their 'disappointment', blah, blah, blah...
Then after not even an hour they left saying they had to catch their flight back home...
Someone please tell me that there's nothing wrong with that...

Even drunk I am completely anal about spelling and grammar. Perhaps it's cheating to check my posts 3 times before I finish them, but damnit, I just don't care.alysaface wrote:you type very very well for a drunken lady. teeheeheeMirage wrote:I got some Irish Cream for my Yankee Swap. Yay.

Well done being a pathetic good-for-nothing that has nothing better to do than to come on here and make pointless, time-wasting posts?iamcool wrote:ooooo i just noticed sexy mirage is over 5000 posts, well done you!

Thank you, sweetling. *Holiday Hugs*
