Okay am I the only who thinks that either the creators messed up or that this really isn't Bree's dad.

The person claiming to be Bree's father has an American accent, not English remember he went to Oxford University, He also doesn't have an Australian or a Kiwi Accent even though they Lived in both Australia and New Zealand for years. With all that moving around you would think he would have some kind of accent.

I understand your point too, however most of those early videos were made when everyone thought Bree was real and they started getting a lot of backlash for the same old stuff once it came out that she was an actress.
If you think the acting ruined it thats fine and your option I think that there has been some good stuff that has happened when they have been...actually out doing stuff.

As I said in the previous post I realize that there will always be a certain amount of monologs in this series because that is how the format goes. I have no problem with that im just asking for things to be a bit more even between the two formats.

Plus I'm not asking for Hamlet, Jonas could sit in the back ground and read a magazine for all I care I just think its about time we start seeing the two together.

I don't think he would have an English accent unless he's a native-born Brit. Same for Aussie or Kiwi accents.

I think this is genuinely (intended to be) her father.

I'm pretty sure they haven't shown them together because many of us (I know I was one of them) expressed a great dislike of the notion that Jonas would replace Daniel in any way, shape or form. Including sitting in the background reading while Bree talked to the camera. XD

Those familliar with the earliest episodes know that Jared Diamond and Feynman were Bree's two main "smart guys" references which made her so endearing. I don't like the way they were brought up so recklessly. I'd be much more in keeping with the LG spirit if they had mentioned some other "smart guy" type of person or thing. Bringing up "Feynman and Richard Diamond" just seemed like such a rehash of THE ones Bree is known for, I really didn't like the way they went about that. Perhaps if the dad had only said Feynman that would have made more sense, but throwing out two names, who are otherwise unrelated individuals except for the fact Bree brought them both up, is what got to me.

i lived overseas until i was 13 and never had an accent. i don't think he'd just pick one up.

I agree.....I mentioned that he sounds young and nothing like what I would expect. The Creators need to pay more attention to those details.

I don't think that would be a justifiable reason for not showing the two of them together. After all, Bree is supposedly at Jonas's house. It would be tough to create storylines following that premise and still not show them together. (Unless, as I suggested earlier, Jessica and Jackson are really in two different geographic locations and it's not possible for them to be filmed together.)

I think bree maybe needs to go back and look again at the favourite books of her of Feynman and Jared Diamond. Maybe her dad left another clue in those books?

what i don't understand is how bree got her uncle's # in the first place. had her father given it to her before they were taken away? also, if he had, then he would have had to make the message on the backwards number when he gave it to her... wouldn't he? and if she had gotten it while "on the road", there would have had to have been some contact between them. right? can anyone explain this to me?
