Does it have to be BLOOD to get a sample? Could it be gotten from something strands of hair, etc.?

Go back to Bree's house. Her dad might have stored some samples there. Or steal the samples they carry at the hospital she was born in (but since we don't know that...) hack into the nearest hospital's computer files and find all the trait positive blood from there.

that crossed my mind at one point, but the thing is it is blood. Once extracted, if blood is not stored in a cold, usually refrigerated area some of the values that are used in a lot of blood tests become invalid. Also, a lot of times blood is tossed after a certain amount of time, again, it is values in the blood that change and therefore make any tests that would be done on this blood void. I have no idea exactly how this effects Spencer's ability to synthesize the sample, but that is what I know.
Where my parents work (they both work as medical technologists) they only keep blood samples for around a week.

WELL...although that's true, the hacking idea could still work. I'm sure there are alot of blood samples to be found that are fresh...of course, I doubt there are that many that are trait positive considering how special Bree is because of her blood.
Is it possible to track down a trait positive person and get a blood sample within a week though? There's not enough time.

i still think we need the blood specifically from bree

Wait, is she still brainswashed? There was speculation that she fled back to the Order with a clear mind. I don't know.

Even if they could do that, How is that a garuntee that the Order would finally leave her alone?

I personally think all this leaked information is a trap

On edit: I'm really not if he active strand is sequenced differently in another trait positive girl, since the trait itself is being tested for by the HoO - they're looking for something, obviously, very specific. I have a strange feeling that the trait itself is common to all the girls, and that just the mutation is unique. Although to me that intuitively goes against what Isaac's research states.

yes but marla if the trait is the same but the mutation is different that doesnt necessarily mean that the strand from 1 order girl would match up with bree

Krisology.. even that way tha sample would be dead by now.. and it doesn't have to be blood but i'll be much easier if it's blood or a healthy cell..
