I believe this was my point.
And Shaneener, I agree.

Oh don't get me wrong. they definitely need to Bree's story it all together, before moving onto the next storyline.
For sure!
No pun intended, but I think that is a pipe dream, voy.
The fan base is dynamic; departing fans are replaced by new ones. They can't really afford to have a major disruption in the fan base.
Closing the storyline about The Ceremony would cause such a disruption. It wouldn't matter at this point how ingeniously The Creators did it. A large group of the fans will leave the moment they do it.
Thus, closure in this particular area of the story can only be done
after KateModern takes off. They have to drag it out until then.
...sigh.
You're probably right. And that's sad, because this ceremony thing... is getting so, so tiresome.
Videos that show hope for the ceremony happening, followed by fluff, and then a video that makes it all go away, and then some more solid fluff and other drifting plots, and then it all repeats.
Like when Bree said she was going to do the ceremony to get Daniel back, but there was hope for a little while. Grrrr.
I just want this ceremony arc to end. I don't want the SHOW to end, but I guess I sort of agree with what you all are saying about the fan base changing after the ceremony happens.
Hmph. Maybe we'll get to see the ceremony. Soon. But maybe... we won't.
...I'll just go back to my obsessive compulsive refreshing of the main page that I've been doing for the past hour, lol.

I think there should be a "season finale" kind of thing, where they figure out all about the ceremony, stop it, do it, whatever, have a quick break, and then come back with the same characters, but a whole new problem.
Maybe something like, the ceremony gets done, something bad happens, then the next "season" is trying to stop the bad stuff the ceremony created.

There are also long-range goals to consider. The Resistance must be rebuilt. The Order all but destroyed it.
Preventing The Ceremony wouldn't destroy the Order. Only a robust, reconstituted Resistance can do that.

Arc list:
-Ceremony
-Find Mr. and Mrs. Jonas's Parents
-Rebuild Resistance (Find members, recruit new ones...)
-Fight Order

I have this image of TAAG finding some clue about the Resistance and making contact and then all getting super excited that they aren't alone. When they get there they find out the Resistance has been decimated and all that's left is this small motley crew of the rejects left behind.

To build a Resistance don't you first have to know what you are resisting? We don't even know what the goals or objectives of the Order are, beyond having a ceremony.

I would be remiss in my duty as a clown if I didn't point out the hilarity in your posting in a topic titled "Let's Play Doctor."

TAAG know The Order is willing to resort to murder to further their agenda. Resisting a global organization of murderers is probably enough to start with.

I'm not a Doctor but I play one on the internets.

I know this is strange....
but what if Julia was adopted and the order covered it up. I bet if they did find Bree's file it would not list her as being adopted

Daniel's
revealed to us that he and Jonas are heading back to Jonas' place in California. Not sure why they felt like they could expect Bree to be out of Texas — or why they felt like they'd be better suited to handle this situation without Sarah and Taylor — but ... hopefully we find out soon.

That hadn't even occurred to me. Well done.

If you didn't know what their goals were, though, you wouldn't know where to allocate resources in the effort of resistance. And since it seems like the last resistance was trying to get it all together as they went along too, repeating history wouldn't be a good idea (we know what happened to them).

I'm sick of this overacting and fake sexual confidence crap...what about Bree? Enough with the tweencies and thier " it involves D batteries" annoyances, get on with it. They are losing fan base by just faltering this long.
