Isn't that what already happened with Bree and Daniel, though? People (including me) assumed from pretty much the beginning that he liked her and - after we found it was a fictional story - we assumed eventually Daniel would win her over; partly because he's just such a cool guy, and partly because that's kind of the expectation when it's fictional.

Despite everything, though, that never happened. So, really, there's already been the "It seemed obvious, but it never happened" non-relationship.

At this point, Daniel really deserves and needs a good, symbiotic romantic relationship - and Alex seems to fit the bill. To deprive him now would be like pissing on a two-legged dog that's being eaten alive by insects.

I was being serious. Yes, that's what one of the posters said, with back up evidence; though I can't remember who it was off the top of my head, or if it was this video or "Aunt Alex".

I agree. It's time for Daniel to have some happiness, and some kind of life without Bree. He's been way to dependent on, and protective of, her for way too long.
