true BUT... they CAN chose what exactly to chose us. Personally for me the movie poster fur and Bree talking about not wearing fur is quite a coincidence if it wasnt intentional.

Thats absolutely true! But the fact that they have about 3 mins to show us stuff... I would think nothing is coincidental. I dunno, thats just me :)

Thanks I found that too, I searched all her posts, but she still hasn't said where it is, I don't know why, but it's driving me a little nuts.
Hey Rob, sorry about that. I mentioned where it is in chat and forgot to say it here. It's a Laemmle Theater in Encino and yes, it has a great taco place. Just thought people would enjoy seeing where Bree went to the movies.
Hey Nikki, was that hookah lounge completely closed up or was it an outdoor type thing? (We Californians are strict about smoking so I was curious about that) Also did you go inside and check the place out?

But.. if you're making vlogs.. are they for Californians only?

the rest of the country would like more info than the physical address and location............
I reported on the area so you could see it. What else do you want me to show?

I don't think many of these folks realize that the majority of these videos are being filmed in the Encino/Tarzana/Woodland Hills area...along with up in the nearby canyons. It's all a local production.

Since I live here, I pretty much recognize all of the "sets" and "locations" being used.

For those that want more...there isn't much to say. It's the San Fernando Valley! There are strip malls everywhere. There's a 7-11 every 2 blocks, and you can get just about anything you could ever want here...and do everything you could ever want. Speak just about any language, too.

You know the TV show The OC?? Filmed in the Valley. So are numerous movies and tv shows...not to mention it being the capital of the porn industry.

My guess is that these are just sets, really...much like thousands of other sets in the Valley. I don't really put a lot strength on the locations they use...espcially since they are often well edited out. And the locations that are given away don't really add up.

After all, we have the ceremony taking place in Topanga Canyon...but the kids on an apparent road trip....yet they're back in the same essential location (The West Valley)? My thoughts? Just sets.

You are of course right, originally they were supposed to be in a small town somewhere in middle America,( Anchor Cove ?), but after the revelation of it being fiction it somehow morphed to its literal location in Southern California. Maybe because of its blurring of the lines between reality and fiction, the format of the v-blogs, and the interaction with the fans, there is a tendency to want to take things literally. So the actual locations hold a special fascination, that they wouldn't otherwise in other forms of fiction.

I was hoping when they first started going on the run that they would do it more literally and really go on a road trip and v-blog from different locations, it would of been fun to try to figure out where they are and to track their progress..
