Guns are only uncleanly when they are reused. If they are brand new out of a new case every time even per-ear [you know one for one ear one for the other] like the clairs here they are fine. =]
I have each of my ears pierced three times and my cartilage in my right ear is pierced with a small 14 gage barbell.
I plan on getting an industrial in my right ear and my targus in my left and anti-targus in my right ear [of course those have to be done at a regular piercing place though]
