I used to make little bonfires out of twigs and pinecones in the backyard. I think all kids have some fascination with fire.

Then I would grab vegetables out of the garden and pretend to "roast" them. I obviously didn't know how to cook yet, so I just ended up making bigger, messier fires and wasting nice fresh veggies!

I know you've all wondered. How could you not? It's the age old question: what made that first orange go rotten? What turned orange from just another tasty Kool Aid flavor into the personification of evil?

I have my theories...

Image
I believe the first orange to really turn evil lost a parent, like Bree. When the other fruit kept following it into the crisper, it started lashing out, becoming angry and violent.

Be careful, Bree... A wise Yoda once said (um, well, it was Yoda, but anyway), “Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you.” How well that orange learned...

Ok, I think I'm loopy from lack of sleep and cough medicine and I need to sleep. :p Night, guys! Just thought I'd pop back in and share the weirdness.

Ooh, here's a good one. I was in high school and a friend of mine had these batons. You could dip the ends in kerosene and light them on fire so they flamed while you twirled them. Anyway, long story short, someone kicked over the can of kerosene, he dropped a baton on accident and a huge fire started in the parking lot where we were. It started spreading towards some cars and we didn't know what to do, so we drove away and then hid and called the police, acting like we were passersby noticing a fire. Nothing ever happened and no cars blew up or anything, but it was scary!
