On a side note, I don't think we need to be concerned about the similarities between the bowling alley in Jonas' video, and the one we are looking for. IMO they will be different, because the LG15 series is based in socal, and the arg is based in norcal, for the most part. I really don't think the creators are actually filming in lakeside or ukiah. Sorry for the tinag boundary crossing, but if this makes it easier....

...and i'm back :-), for all my adoring fans, or anyone who remembers me haha

I used to work for sprint/nextel. Just checked the coverage map and there is supposedly "clear voice and data" coverage for zip code 90023 (Dillon Beach)

Coverage is not the same as the presence of a tower.

There is no FCC registered tower within at least 20 miles that I could find.

Oh...and for those who cannot tackle a simple "grown-up" task without having their hand held...I have a ball, perhaps you'd like to bounce it?
she doesn't want us to ask for confirmation
she wants us to do it on our own with no help. She wants us to prove to her that we're smart enough to do these puzzles on our own and to have the confidence to know we're right. Because until now, she's been very willing to help us and confirm things...right now, she's not.

Ahhh, o.k. o.k. IF people are to check for those, a night drive would probably make that easier.

That's what I keep saying, too...but because the series is filmed in southern cal. Jonas' house, we know, is quite a distance from Los Angeles. It's filmed in LA, that doesn't mean it's set there. Visual clues from the LG15 videos aren't going to be one ounce of help to the ARG in this case. That's what makes this ARG more confusing because it's a bit convuluded.

She thinks highly of some of you! Awesome. I for one, would like the ball now. :smt045

Why drive at all? You can look it up online:

Now these are are not ALL of them. Some sturctures aren't required to be registered with the FCC, but most are.

Imagin:

First, am I the only one that got all hot and bothered by the fact that Imagin so diligently put those pictures together, and coordinated the triangulation! DANG!

Lakeside, from your map, seems to be the indicated alley. By and far, this is the BEST support we have other than "HEY, that one is near a tiny town...and this one is closed...and I like this one's name". Oppy wants us to use our heads to figure it out...and I think Imagin nailed Oppy's hint on the head.

Although I'm not completely convinced that that's how the triangulation is supposed to be done, I think Imagin does have the best theory out there right now.

One thing has been bothering me though. Daniel said in his video that he thought he lost his ID at the bowling alley... but what if he didn't? If he didn't actually lose it at the alley then we'd have nothing to confirm that we got the right place...

Just a thought.

The only pic I can find online of Lakeside Lakes... pic is very old. Doesn't confirm anything, but doesn't rule anything out, either. The building is similar (though definitely from a different viewpoint) to the building in the Truth or Dare vid.

PIC REMOVED - It was wrong place, same name.

Oh, yes. Almost forgot. In Op's recent message to Ziola, she said she was looking for the bowling alley nearest a "certain unknown location", and that the unknown location was what the triangulation was directed at.

Which makes the fact that the points do not land exactly on a bowling alley make a great deal more sense, at least to me.

I like Imagin's work...and I htink it's the right direction, but in looking up how cell phone triangulation is done...I'm not sure it's quite right.

See: http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/ ... 24,00.html
the distance to the cell phone is determined by measuring the relative time delays in the signal from the phone set to three different base stations
So, we need three circles...and they may not be the same size. Plus...signals may be all screwed out there (which is what Oppy was hinting at).

I've got an idea I'm going to play with...but I'll pop back in later with it when I can illustrate it better. I'm at work and I actually have to do a few things since the boss is her office (which is rare).
