My job only requires me to count to 8. Anything above that and I need a calculator...

This isn't even much of a maths question. Obviously, when a triangle that's eight units long gets replaced by one triangle that's five units long and another polygon that's only two units long, there's going to be a gap.

I don't even try to think when it comes to math. My brain just shuts down and waits for someone else to do it...or tells me to get a calculator.
