LOL yeah the outfit part was cute.
I was bummed about the product placement until I saw this thread. How did you know the ad was going to happen and be in this video? I would have been less like "uh...how cheesy!" if I knew it was going to happen. I think i just didn't like it because it turned into a commercial in the end and it broke the realistic feel
whatever, if it keeps LG running...bring on the gum!

I wonder how the Creators find all these helicopters to film?
It's Los Angeles. They're everywhere. Mostly they're news and law enforcement monitoring traffic, but there are lots of private ones, too. Military as well. There's one that flies past my office 2-3 times a day on the way to the Pratt & Whitney facility.
Personally? I think think they're just adding in the footage to mess with your minds.
Jonas was travelling at 140 Km/h

it looks like our friend might have been going at 140Km/h, (or miles, whatever, on my car it's Km/h and thats what this car looked like it was doing), thats important because Jonas's parents were "killed" on the 140 longditude.

Huh? I didn't get that at all. I thought that the outfit was supposed to be a "trucker babe" outfit. Like on Hee Haw or something.
janesalteredstates wrote:Beast seriously needs to get over his "feminism is so boring" crap.

Again, huh? What "feminism is so boring" crap? I just reread
the transcript to make sure I hadn't missed something, and I don't see anything along those lines.
And believe me, if I thought it was there, I'd be all over it.
BTW, these lines, and the way they were delivered, suddenly made me not so sure about Jonas's allegiances after all: "I mean, after, after what happened with my aunt, I can...really understand how...confusing things can get when someone that you trust betrays you, you know like...you and Gemma. (Bree nods.) It's hard to know who to trust."
Then again, llp may be right when she says:
longlostposter wrote:Jonas did say some humorous things in the vid, but he didn't laugh at them the way he normally does. He was disheveled and very inside himself. He was not the Jonas we are used to seeing by a long shot.
I was forgetting that Jonas just found out that his parents are still alive. I should cut him a break.

actually now I compared pictures of this speedometer to another speedometer and heres the difference
that gives us a mileage of about 71.0 miles....
so Jonas was travelling at 71.0 miles, I noe we have all seen this before

I meant the reaction to her outfit was overdone. Sorry, I should have been more clear.
And the feminism is boring thing, I was referring to
In The Hot Seat:
Alex: Ecch. Alright, we-we probably have the most influence in women ages 22 to 34 which is to say out of college, probably in jobs where they're judged by their physical appearence. Which is to say any job if you're.....
Daniel: Bzzzz!
Alex: What?
Daniel: I mean you were doing great until you brought up that whole sexism in the workplace thing.
Alex: Well it's true though.
Daniel: Well it's boring, though.
That bugged me. But, I did misspeak with the "feminism is boring" thing. Just, that coupled with his overreaction to Bree wearing a flannel shirt made me ... well, it pissed me off. But only for like, one second.
I'm a hard sell. I've never been too much of a DB fan.

I'd agree with those who said that it was probably a reference to the people who were suggesting that Tachyon is some kind of brawny, flannel shirt bearing, combat boot wearing, non-feminine lady for training Bree in the woods. That had been a rather odd suggestion in the first place, and kind of bothered a few people.

Daniel was right that you wouldn't start saying stuff like that in an interview, or a marketing or PR session. That would be a quick way to turn off a lot of potential employers or clients.
It doesn't mean he disagreed with what she was saying or that she was wrong. It's just that it's not what you would do.

Hm. Well, I was one of those who thought the flannel-and-Docs suggestion was idiotic (see my "location" for proof). But I really didn't think that Bree's outfit was a response to the suggestion. I'll have to watch the vid again. (Is Bree wearing Docs?)

Well, on this one, now that Jane's explained what she was referring to, I'll have to agree with her. Sure, it's not what you would do in a PR session, but the reason for not doing so isn't because "it's boring" -- it's because you don't want to bring up controversial issues that might turn part of your audience off to your message. So DB does seem like he's not a fan of feminism.
I don't think that's the reason for his reaction to the outfit though.

Mysterious uploading second video. &%$*%*$###%@!
Anyway, now that is off my chest, I'm going to go back and read everyone's comments from last night.
Oh, and if I make a prediction, you know it most certainly will be wrong!
