Out In Kansas there is a Starbucks, almost on every corner, if not every other! IDK, if it has a lot of caffine and I need it. I will drink it!

After getting free drinks there all the time I got kinda sick of doing the same latte (extra foam shot of vanilla and hazlenut) or frapp and started doing the Tazo orange tea iced....man, it was so damn good. The other orange teas aren't the same, and I haven't been able to find that particular kind bulk in the grocery stores. :(

It's called espresso. :)

I don't like Starbucks either, they have gotten too commercial, all the baristas do is push buttons on automated machines.

I prefer the smaller independent cafes where thay still use the traditional italian espresso machines, and have baristas who know what they are doing.

Hey, believe me, dealing with snooty customers that can afford to spend 15$ (no exaggeration, either!) isn't easy. :D

Sometimes I get a Java Chip Frappuccino, just because Starbucks frozen coffee things have, by far, the best consistency of any I've ever had. Otherwise, I don't go to Starbucks, since only a tiny fraction of their coffee is fair trade.

I have my little coffee places I like to go to hang out with people in/read/whatever-- its always warmer and friendlier [clientele-wise] than Starbucks anyway, where everyone seems to be plugged into shiny, white products [various mac stuff]. :P

I wish we had a diverse "coffeehouse" population around here. We've got tons of Dunkin Donuts and Bess Eatons, an uber-expensive Starbucks in the casino, and a coffeehouse downtown (which is just hell to drive around in). :(
