Sounds fabtastic! I like Sweet Baby Rays pretty well - it's very tasty. If you like teriyaki you should try Veri Veri Teriyaki by Soy Vay - it's primo!
Also - I know exactly what you're talking about with the homemade red sauce. It they can't tell the difference then what does it matter? Though I do like making pesto from scratch - it's hard to find a good pesto sauce.
Anyway, don't you live in New England or something? That means if my wife and I leave tonight we'll get there on ... Monday? I hope there'll be ribs still

Yum, I've never heard of Soy Vay. I'll have to look for it next time I'm out shopping. I've always used Kikkoman--that stuff is damn addicting for me.
I LOVE pesto, though that is another thing the BF doesn't like, so I will usually end up buying the little container of it for me instead of making it. There was a time when I was on a pesto kick and was having it a couple of times of week. Needless to say, I was brushing my teeth constantly.
Ribs left by monday? Shit, you'll be lucky if there are ribs left by the next day.

I make a rack each for us--that means a load of leftovers the day after.
Oh dear, I might have to plan out something else for monday then. Hmm...oven fried chicken sound good?

It all sounds good!
I know how it goes with ribs though - they never live very long when I make them either.
That's okay though - I think I'm going to grill up some Rib Eyes tomorrow so I have that to look forward to!
As for tonight - I think I'm making a run for the border before I go to see 300.

Ok...maybe *I* should be making the trip to come see you!! Rib eyes, a trip to the border, AND 300? *swoon* Sounds good to me.
A trip to the border? Where do you live? I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to let me borrow a couple thousand dollars for a trip to Vegas for
AdventureCon, but so far he's being a typical stubborn male.

I live in Oregon - so unfortunately it will be figurative run ( to Taco Bell

) and not the real thing! I used to live in Reno, NV though (born and raised) before moving up here to the rainy Northwest. But 300 should definitely be awesome!

LMAO!! Colour me a bit slow (but you knew that already

)...I cannot STAND Taco Bell. It's the smell for me. It just makes me all sorts of queasy.
Oh Lord, Reno 911 is one of my favourite shows. It's fate, I tells ya.
Yeah, we keep saying we're gonna get to the theater to see 300, and then never do. I just finished playing God of War 2, so I've been on a big "greek" kick lately. Did you know that the Crap Dude (Paulo) from Lost is in that?

Was GOW2 good? I had a demo for the first one that was awesome, but when I bought the actual game it wouldn't work on my PS2 (it was one of the slim ones). I took it back and exchanged it like 4 times (to different stores even) and could never get one to play on my machine

I'm going to try one of Greatest Hits versions soon though becasue the demo was very fun. I've heard the new one is even better!
Reno 911 is hilarious. Did you ever see Viva Variety? The same folks did that and it was great. The funny thing about Reno 911 is that they only use stock exteriors from Reno - all the skits and stuff are filmed elsewhere (LA or somewhere else in Southern Cali I think). But I lmao anyway!
Speaking of Paulo - what's his use anyway? I think he's going to end up dead because he is a pointless character.

GOW2 was great. I don't think it was as good as the first just because it seems so much more shorter and (dare I say it?) a bit easier. The graphics and music and cut scenes are absolutely amazing. I've heard people say that GOW2 on the PS2 is just as good as anything you'll see on the PS3 graphics-wise. But it WAS a lot of fun, like I said, just a bit shorter than the first one. I'd definately reccomend playing the first one, if only for the story. I just wish they'd make more games in the PoP/GoW vein because they're so much damn fun.
I LOVED Viva Variety. Honestly, if you weren't living in such a rainy, cold place (oh and married

) I might just have to run off with you.
*snicker* Paulo is there for the running "He goes number 2 a lot" jokes. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who died next week. If he shows up wearing a red shirt, we'll know for sure.

Last night I had...wow, I don't think I ate dinner last night. No wait! I had toast...um with jelly. HOMEMADE jelly though.
Tonight I'm thinking caesar salad with garlic bread. Sounds better than toast to me.

Night before last I made some mini baguettes (didn't turn out like real ones, of course) and some homemade meatballs and gravy...I mean...sauce...and I made delicious meatball subs. I had one again last night. Tonight....uhhhhh...I think myabe some honey glazed pork chops with some homemade steakhouse bread and butter noodles. Yeah. That sounds good.

Okay, last night... Spinach salad with feta and provolone, tomato, cucumber, croƻtons, add hot chicken tidbits (fried with very, very light oil and a bit of curry) at the last moment...then some Dijon vinaigrette. Super yummy with a bottle of Pear Nectar wine from the Honeywood Winery (dmadscribbler, have you had any of their stuff?)
Tonight... Well, it's raining hippos and elephants (Oregon, folks, Oregon - cats and dogs are much too small)... It's a pot o' beans or soup kinda day, and I make soup a whole lot, so we decided today was a beans day). We emptied out the cupboard and this pots going to have black beans, navy beans, great northerns, small reds, and light red kidney beans...cuz that's what I found in there. I'm about to start 'em on stovetop (they've been soaking all morning). I'll letcha know what else ends up in the pot as it goes along. Red wine of some kind, I think...
Y'all are invited any time - I'm one helluva cook, btw.
