The character Tachyon stole some data from The Order.

Tachyon does a lot of dead drops (packages left for people to be retrieved). One of the dead drops had a disk. On the disk were the pictures of Daniel that were on Lucy's computer.

That is one of the supplemental bonus tie-in's, if that makes sense to anyone.

Since dead drops can only be recovered once, there have also been things like phone calls, and hidden codes in Craigslist posts and videos.

The puzzles haven't been exceptionally hard. Most have been more entertaining and interesting. One puzzle was a music mashup where we figured out a phone number through song titles and bands. Then we had to find another phone number through listening to the songs and counting things. Hardly rocket science, but it works within the story because the Tachyon character is really into music.

At least it's not anagrams...

Question...Nikki Bower, was that a drop by OpAphid or Tachyon, etc?

I suspect it might make the B&D videos more complex. There should/could be a separate page with the various OpAphid vids (since they're not all from one person).

i don't think the problem for some of us is are we going to sit there and have to solve those puzzles. it's more like, we don't have time to follow more stories. some of us have lives. the only thing i do anymore is watch the lg videos and go to the videos section of the forum. i don't even check out the others anymore as things were going all over the place. i'm not going to leave because opaphid was introduced into the story b/c i really like the lg15 series. it's just now i don't even know what that's all about and don't have time to go read all the stuff in the forum about opaphid and watch the videos for it. i never checked out the other videos after watching a cassieiswatching video that scared the s*** out of me so i assume nothing is canon until their videos are posted on this site.

OpAphid = The Order that is after Bree. Previously we've communicated with one person from OpAphid (boss?) via YouTube. Tells Daniel to back off and tells Bree that she should go through with the ceramony.
Tachyon = Renegade agent who is on the run. Rumours are that Tachyon = Lucy by the way she talks in her older videos.
Brother = Tachyon's partner who is looking for her. They leave each other tedious as hell codes via YouTube, Voicemail and Craigslist.com. We're not sure if brother has a direct direct direct link yet. (if we are, I can't remember)

Benefits of keeping up with the ARG?
It gives you insight into what type of people The Order are.
If Tachyon is indeed Lucy, who is with Brees parents then we might have a clue where they are/where they are headed. And we know that The Order are after them.
Probably other stuff but I can barely keep my eyes open right now, I'll ask if anyone will do it in the other threads.

I thought it was believed that Tachyon was the girl in the ceremony that Gemma said disappeared along with her family?

I'm hoping that when things calm down, she'll come back. It really doesn't seem to me that you have to watch the Op stuff if you don't want to.

I wasn't too thrilled about it at first, but it really doesn't seem like such a big issue after you think about it.

It's been here on the forum anyway. You don't have to watch it if you don't want to. Seems like it will be easy enough to either go catch up with it or ignore it, depending on what you want to do with it.

I'm sure you've noticed the little symbols in the bottom right hand corner of OpAphid's vids. The "What ever happened to that girl, Cassie?" has the Watcher symbol on it. Don't know what that means, but it's there. I'm sure that OpAphid is tied in with the plot and Bree's mentioning of it in this latest vlog confirms that.

Going through things is just confusing me...i mean, I remember when OpAphid first showed up. We were still dealing with cassie voicemails...and supposedly OpAphid gamejacked her. My question...is since OpAphid is so surely rooted in the initial CiW stuff...do we take any of our CiW stuff with us on this, or what? What happened to CiW...it was good enough to rip off, that's it? Just confused...

I interpreted that as an evidence the LG15 extended crew (Creators+OpAphid) did gamejack CiW and hastened its downfall. I might be wrong, but that's part of why I'm a little upset at the Creators for the whole OpAphid = official ARG.

Are you talking about this symbol?

which is the only one showing in the "What happened to that girl Cassie?" video. It doesn't look exactly like the eye of the Watchers.
