This is ridiculous.

1) His staged apartment. They could at least pretend he's a real 22 year old guy (i.e., a leather couch and gigantic television, and no other furniture). A matching, apparently professionally decorated living room? yeah, right.
2) Why the hell would a biochemist who specialized in ribozyme research get a job at NEUTROGENA? No sense whatsoever. Way to bend the plot around your business deals, creators.
3) A "record 3 years" how is that record? I know people who've graduated in three years...and I would have, but I decided to put off the real world and take some BS classes until OSU would make me graduate.
4) I assume the "record three years" was to make us think he was smart. Maybe he shouldn't act like he just put down his bong.

gag.

I just haven't liked any of the new characters...really not liking the series either. I can feel the ridiculous just buliding every video.

Well, Spencer's obviously not British  . And as another poster already mentioned, he did come across as a bit of a dick. But mostly he's instantly likable, and the fact that he bothered to post a blog makes me think that he's a reluctantly unwilling helper. Plus, that one news article said he'd be involved with the series for several months, so we'll see a lot more of him in the months to come. I don't have any predictions as to how the TAAG will contact Spencer, but I hope they don't try to kidnap him, since that's been overplayed (probably unlikely, anyway).

Taylor mentioned on the msg board that kidnapping would not be an option this time.... thank god. Let's hope it's true.

???? I thought it looked out-dated...you know, like really bad 70's taste.

Isn't it his dad that specialized in that research? Didn't he say he didn't know anything about what his dad had been doing? My guess is, he's going to look at some of the things in the trunk, and possibly some other stuff that belonged to his dad, and study up.

So? He's proud of it. I would be too.

"Haether"]This is ridiculous.

1) His staged apartment. They could at least pretend he's a real 22 year old guy (i.e., a leather couch and gigantic television, and no other furniture). A matching, apparently professionally decorated living room? yeah, right.
To me it looked like someone starting out. His first apartment.
Get the couch first...TV...usually takes time to find something you like to hang on the wall...etc.. (Does anyone else feel this way or is it like a gay-decor-trait?)
2) Why the hell would a biochemist who specialized in ribozyme research get a job at NEUTROGENA? No sense whatsoever.

Does a doctor open up his own private practice after he finishes med school?
Architects don't graduate and then get hired to design the next Empire State Building do they?
Way to bend the plot around your business deals, creators.

Bend the plot? The the need for someone to help the kids with the medical/scientific terminology etc... has been ongoing for months.
Either way, you better believe I'd work this into the plot if it meant getting paid.
3) A "record 3 years" how is that record? I know people who've graduated in three years...and I would have, but I decided to put off the real world and take some BS classes until OSU would make me graduate.
This sounds like its a personal issue.
4) I assume the "record three years" was to make us think he was smart. Maybe he shouldn't act like he just put down his bong.
gag.
What Juli said.

If youre not having fun (and it sounds like youre not having fun) then maybe you should take a break from here. What's the point if its only pissing you off?

Uhm...they're not the same person. Remember the answering message where they were talking to each other?

Unless of course it was the same guy calling his home from his cell and carrying on a conversation with himself.

Nah, it's a valid criticism. I'm not sure exactly what scientists at Neutrogena do, but I think that it's a fair bet that it has nothing to do with ribozymes or RNAi.
