Yes, I do.

ETA: Well, more specifically I remember before it became a commercial endeavor. It was invented in the 40's but it didtn't hit the streets until the 50's. We didn't get one at my house until I was 11.

I used to use it as a light to read by.

I think she's interacting with Tachyon or someone...kind of like 'Me for Daniel' & 'The Human Ransom'....which is why I can't wait for the next vid!!

Yep. That was before Issues With Glenn caused a complete disassociation between LG15 and Glenn's characters (Oppy, Tachy, & Bro).

Believe me, many of us are still mourning the loss of our kick-ass Tachy.

I would really love it if the creators would license the rights to use the Tachyon and Brother characters from Glenn.

Or really, from my limited understanding of copyright law based on one semester's worth of IP law, they really could "introduce a new character" that seems an awful lot like Tachyon. They'd just have to be very careful not to imply that it's her (we would just know) or Glenn could sue for infringement as it would a derivative work. But then again, Glenn created a derivative work to begin with. Ah, sketchy legality.

I should preface this by saying (before anyone asks) that I know zip about copyright law, other than what I read on the official website. It's not my field.

Haether, I can see your point, but really I think it would be better for the storyline, for the Creators, and for all of us who watch, if the Creators just left the concept(s) of Tachy and Brother behind for now.

Some of us (including me) have already been complaining about the recent lack of interesting developments/fresh ideas in the series. I'd prefer to see the Creators strike out in a direction that's original to them, and that they can develop in a way that they find meaningful and engaging, than for them to parrot somebody else's ideas.

Oppy, Tachy, and Bro were terrific characters that added a great deal of excitement to LG15. But since Unfortunate Developments mean that the Creators can no longer use them, let's try to let them RIP (at least for purposes of this series), and encourage the Creators to go elsewhere. Which is what they seem to be trying to do with the New Girl development(s), including Taylor and Sarah.

I'm just lacking the faith that they can pull that off.

Really what I'm craving in this series in some competence in a character.
It's ineptitude all around right now:
-Bree unties Julia and is surprised when she escapes
-They get lost. again. following the Order Car.
-They never ever seem to use their resources (i.e., the forum)

and, I'm pretty sure that Daniel wouldn't know the meaning of the word "coping" even if he looked up in the dictionary.

What we got with Tachyon and Brother was competence. They swept in, kicked some Order ass, and moved on.
I'm fine with them never coming back. I'm not that attached to Tachyon, per se. Bringing in a person who is adult enough to make clear, concise, well-thought-out decisions is what this series needs.
Taylor and Sarah add some color to the series, but not the help or resources D&J need right now.

They should at least start with a GPS (or a MAP, for that matter). Oh yeah, and stop posting their location in public videos. "We have no idea how the order found us!" Really, no idea? You're in a relatively small town in texas, you filmed your hotel room...how hard could it be? The Order knows what their car looks like, plus Jonas is out skateboarding on some public street.

But Nikki B told us that the Order doesn't watch the LG15 videos, she didn't say why they don't watch them, but that is what she said.
