No...he's nothing. But up here, you can tell the French families by their painted stones and shrines. I'm the reformed Catholic in this relationship

Me too! I've never seen a neighborhood like that, lol. Of course, it's mostly Italians 'round these parts...everyone has the Italian flag. eVERYONE...and dressed up geese...and bird baths and gazing balls. It's horribly tacky. I have...um...a holly bush...

I have kids toys all over my yard...My daughter has been known to "plant" her Barbies in the garden. I'm sure it must look disturbing to some people, but I think its frickin' funny

In your neighborhoods, are the Blessed Virgin statues displayed in shrines made of bathtubs cut in half? Maybe with Xmas lights around the edges? They were in the neighborhood where I grew up.
