That's the rule I always use ;)
I've got a big thing for girls with good grammar
I try my best to speak well ;)

Well Jamesy..

Sorry to be gone for so long. I have been working.

My father is an English professor with 47 years experience. He has a PhD. I can check in with him to see if he'll resolve this, OK?

I'll call him now, even...

:)

Aren't you in the bath Jess?! Your PC will explode if you get it wet :?

And you've got to record your voice one day, to relieve my curiousity!!

I would be interested, as it's always bugged me as to which one to use. Most sentences are quite easy, but statements are trickier imho. People at work always ask me about apostrophes, so it's nice to talk about personal pronouns instead!!

You might like this too:

I'm off to bed now though, so if you do find out, drop me a PM and I'll have a look tomorrow!

Cheers Marbella.

Daddy says this: "We have to assume that it's a non-derivative. In other words, with no verb, one must assume that the fragment in the caption is the subject."

Let's eat the popcorn.

Let us eat the popcorn.

Us= Object, therefore the sentence is grammatically incorrect.

However, it is in common usage.

Kris and I are at the Halloween Ball.

(a linking verb is needed, which is "are.")

"This is Kris and me at the Halloween Ball," makes the sentence subjective on both sides. Therefore, it is incorrect. The linking verb "is" makes the difference.
