No, I meant what I said... I never said "sick" emotional attachment, I said "intense."
spaciegirlreturn said that there fans who were touched by her, and to those people, I apologize.
But to the other people I've seen, not just here but all over make a huge deal out of her death for no reason-- I don't.
Seriously, if you're going to pick apart what I said, read it correctly.
And all I said was "who cares?"
It was spaciegirlreturn who implied that what I said was so hurtful on a personal level-- why don't you read her comment?

What's your point? I already admitted I was just annoyed by things I'd seen outside of the thread (and LG15) in general, and it was unfair of me to direct it at this thread. What the hell else do you want me to say?agent_fondue wrote:

Vote 'mute in '08! - because Paris Hilton and P. Diddy will both talk about it for months without acctually doing it themselves.

Who has has expressed anything here nearing a "intense emotional attachment" here.
She is who I was replying to, after all.
Which goes along with the fact that that was high I interpreted the situation-- as being irrelevant in the context of much greater issues-- and it was a reply to me that took it to a really personal level.
I had no idea it was even going to be that personal to anyone.

"sick" or "intense" it was still preposterous.PinkoLady wrote:No, I meant what I said... I never said "sick" emotional attachment, I said "intense."

and I did read Spacie's post, but I was not replying to what she had to say, only you.

And I was replying to her, so in order to understand my comment, you would have to take what she said into consideration, obviously.
She does, in fact, seem to have an intense-- and no, NOT sick-- attachment to Anna Nicole Smith. I, believe it or not, actually understand that. Which is why I apologized to her, if not anyone else.

If she was referring to herself, then yes, if Anna Nicole Smith touched her life, that seems like quite an emotional attachment.spaciegirlreturn wrote: ...lot of fans who's lives were in some way touched by her. Perhaps these people saw something in her you obviously didn't....that's just adding insult to injury really.

yet you followed that wth how it "sickened you" (ah hah I knew I didnt pull that word out of nowhere) the "intense emotional attachment" we seem to have.PinkoLady wrote:If she was referring to herself, then yes, if Anna Nicole Smith touched her life, that seems like quite an emotional attachment.spaciegirlreturn wrote: ...lot of fans who's lives were in some way touched by her. I know you have said you didnt nessicarly mean that to be directed at the posters of this forum but to the world in general, I still don't see the need for you insensitive, and occationally ridiculous posts here (on this topic).

You really need to read what I wrote again, I never said people with an intense emotional attachment to her sickened me.
I, in fact, said "those WITHOUT the intense emotional attachment that were making a big deal about it."
I wasn't referring to people who were casually discussing, or those who had a vested interest in the subject matter-- if Anna Nicole Smith really had some personal effect on her, I can respect that.

Time and time again, I said I was talking about the attention this was getting in the media, etc. not just a casual discussion on this bored-- I just directed it here, like I said, wrongly.
Nothing I said was ridiculous if you quit taking it out of context. I was just explaining what exactly bothered me about any of it on a fundamental level.

I appologize for mis-reading the post, but aside from that oversight, I continue to stand by the rest of my previous posts.PinkoLady wrote:You really need to read what I wrote again, I never said people with an intense emotional attachment to her sickened me.

After reading back on most of this thread, I don't see any posts other that the casual discusstion and/or the possible one or two committed fans.
So... what is it again you are protesting here?

If you hadn't stormed this thread with your angry posts and now inappropraite language that previously did very much sound directed at this board, then you would not receive so much retaliation.PinkoLady wrote:Time and time again, I said I was talking about the attention this was getting in the media, etc. not just a casual discussion on this bored-- I just directed it here, like I said, wrongly.

edited to say that pinkolady removed the innappropraite language before I was able to hit submit...

I'm sorry, but, who needs to let things go? It it certainly not myself.PinkoLady wrote:So what's you're reason for keeping it going after I admitted I shouldn't have taken out my frustration on this thread? Let it go.
