I laughed alot. CheechDaddy, Sawyer o' the many nicknames (Hurley=IHOP? ), Sawyer/Jin drinking...very cute episode. And I got to be reminded about how hawt DDK is...not that I needed reminding.

You guys *itch too much..and I would know being a *itch myself. Just sit back and enjoy the synergy of the whole thing. Ya ever think that the others managed to do just what they said they would..that being to make Jack want to save Ben. The great thing about Ben is he will tell you exactly what he is going to make you do and then 63 things happen and bam..there it is the way he said..except you got their from a totally unexpected route.
Also, the greatest leaders always walk among their people but keep themselves apart from their followers at the same time. I say Jack's tatoo means that he is a leader. Carry on and tally Ho.

I liked this episode as well - but I keep hoping they'll find a nice balance between this kind of character development and anwering questions/moving the story arc forward.

That said, I believe they did lay some great groundwork. Between Hurley convincing Charlie to embrace life (which could ultimately lead to Desmond's premonition coming true) to Kate, Sayid and Locke heading out for reenforcements to get Jack back (though something tells me he won't want to go back with them).

I finally get that damn Dark Tower thing settled and now..I got a car load more loose ends.

Oh - I wasn't whining. I really am just enjoying the show.

And I was sobbing BECAUSE Charlie didn't die, hehe.

But yeah, I got teary eyed too. Which was embarassing cause I had done the same thing for Heroes on monday so I felt like an extreme idiot crying at the television repeatedly. But I've cried at Lost a LOT. And I was getting teary eyed when Hurley was talking to Libby's grave in the begining. Sigh. I'm so pathetic.

I've tried giving up spoilers, and it's a lost (pun intended) cause for me. I have cut back on Lost spoilers this year, in favour of Heroes and/or Rome (Rome spoilers can be, well, given cuz it's like, duh, history ). But it's SO difficult to stop yourself from reading them, isn't it? I have no willpower whatsoever.

Good episode! Nice to see the angel of continuity finally making an appearance.

The Good:

Sayid and his backstory! Naveen Andrews is an awesome actor, y'all. And good looking to boot. I mean, I felt it was kinda obvious that he DID torture her, only because it would bring a resolution to the plot. But I still did a little gasp when he said it, because he's that damn good...but then it made me wonder if he actually did torture her specifically or he was just issuing a general mea culpa to all his torturees. The only way I will loose a little love for him is if he DIDN'T stuff any of those Dharma folders into his backpack. And he's so pretty!!

The one eyed (not to be confused with the one armed) man and his story. Excellent. I might just be really slow but it didn't occur to me that he wasn't an Other until Sayid said so. Only gripe I had is we have to have the heat on at night and because it's right next to the t.v. I have a hard time hearing things without jacking up the volume (and pissing off the neighbors), so a Russian accent was mucking up story progression for me.

The Bad

The little Hurley/Sawyer/PingPong plot. It might have just been for time restraints but I felt that this could have been really funny if given the chance. And I don't mean necessarily showing the whole damn thing. A montage (We're gonna need a montage!!!) would have worked just fine. It just seemed a kinda useless subplot thing that I would have liked to see increased or taken out all together.

Locke getting the dumb all of a sudden and just leaving his prisoner to go play some chess. Seriously, Locke is the MightyHunter and he needs to start acting all...MightyHunterlike. Way to leave a prisoner unguarded.

The Ugly

Sayid not taking spooky ghost-like cat with him. Ok, I know he doesn't seem like a cat person. And it really wouldn't make sense to get another pet. But the animal lover in me cried, "Noo! Don't leave the kitty!" Hopefully it'll make it's way over to Benry and the Others. Benry could totally use a cat to pet while he's plotting world domination.

So, final thoughts? I'd like to buy into the theory that the Others were there long before Dharma...decendants of the 4 toed statue people, maybe? However, I'm not completely sold on this idea.

Danielle? Seems shady. She's been on the island 16 years, looking for Alex, and never once stumbled on the farm house? Maybe, if you lift up her shirt (dirty!), you'll find a brand on her back too. And maybe her capturing Benry was just an elaborate plot to get him into the Losties camp. Maybe I say maybe too much. All I'm saying is that there seem to be some inconsistencies with her story that I really don't think are writer-dropping-the-ball related.

And last but not least, 10-11? This schedule is kicking my ass. BF has to go to bed right after and I don't get to come online. Stupid ABC Executives...probably the same ones who decided on that dumb JackTattoo promo that announced all smugly "3 Questions that You've Been Asking Will Be Answered Tonight..."

Oh, and the connection between the two castaways talked about next week? I betcha I know. Back when I was a Lost forum-aholic, it was speculated WIDELY after a certain episode.

Wow... Miragey took the words right outta my mouth. Danielle= super suspicious to me.. and I thought the same thing about the marking on her back.


Benry could totally use a cat to pet while he's plotting world domination. --- LOL.. omg I totally pictured him sitting like Dr Evil and mr. bigglesworth and almost died of laughter.. That would be awesome.

And do tell us what the castaway connection speculation you heard of is...
You got me all curious now.

LOL I was thinking Benry could be like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget but yeah "It's frickin' freezing in here, Mr. Bigglesworth!" would totally work too.
