Probably other stuff but I can barely keep my eyes open right now, I'll ask if anyone will do it in the other threads.
I so wish I'd kept up with this....
It'll get easier! Just all the clues and stuff make it look like a lot to catch up on.

Yeah I'm gonna get stuck in to it tonight after my dinner, spend a couple of days getting caught up to speed properly and then jump in...
I'm just angry at my self because I started to follow it and then got a bit peeved when you couldn't continue the story without solving some puzzle. At the time I was a lurker and I didn't really want to get mega-involved (especially after the dissapointment of CiW). But now i'm well up for some web-sluething

could someone who has been following the opaphid story just please give us a summary. i don't want to follow any stories where the videos aren't posted on this website like gemma's videos are. it's just too much.

Ok guys! As Abs has said, I am creating a FAQ sheet to help get everyone up to speed. I already have one...but it only includes the last set of puzzles (about 3 days of work). This should be available to you guys within 24 (i hope). I'm sorry its going to take so long, but I need to juggle work and child as well. They are working on a FAQ, which may include a timeline. In the meantime, see the first announcement in each of hte OpAphid forums. It has a nice getting started summary from Tigerlilly.
The character Tachyon stole some data from The Order.
Tachyon does a lot of dead drops (packages left for people to be retrieved). One of the dead drops had a disk. On the disk were the pictures of Daniel that were on Lucy's computer.
That is one of the supplemental bonus tie-in's, if that makes sense to anyone.
Since dead drops can only be recovered once, there have also been things like phone calls, and hidden codes in Craigslist posts and videos.
The puzzles haven't been exceptionally hard. Most have been more entertaining and interesting. One puzzle was a music mashup where we figured out a phone number through song titles and bands. Then we had to find another phone number through listening to the songs and counting things. Hardly rocket science, but it works within the story because the Tachyon character is really into music.
