Aideen, about the beast sayin "they" or "dont".

Maybe he did say they. I thought I heard Dont the first time too, but when I watched it again, his speech is kind of mumbled. Maybe he was trying to talk without Sarah hearing him.

Or, maybe he was trying to be all smooth, by saying it like... Well, I'm typing, so I cant really give an example. But smooth and low, like, "Bond. James Bond."

DB may just get all serious and say, "They call me... the Beast."

Just saying. And, if that's what it really was a reference to, I guess they didn't do much research. I doubt if the policy is as stated above, that one would be sold to a teen.
It depends on the size. Many more powerful "toys" take D's, too.

Which seems to make Sarah's comment even better, IMHO. Not just a vibrator, but a high-powered vibe! Girl power!

And if Sarah can order offline or be a little sneaky, I'm sure she can get her paws on one. I wouldn't put stealing from sex shops past her, either.

I thought Sarah was just kidding...

Duh, of course. Christ, I have to pay more attention. That's the second time Lurker has pointed out the obivious to me, ha ha. He was just trying to make a joke or something, or get into character. Thanks again.

I would hate to see DB try to change for a girl. Whenever I see a friend of mine do that, it is almost as if they change into a different person, someone who I do not even know, and worse, nine times out of ten this "new guy" is a dick.

And I never knew people could be so knowlageable on vibrators. It's to the point where we could open a new thread on them. Or perhaps write a book.

I guess you don't visit the GTKE forum, they have been discussing thier vibrators for months. Maybe that's where they got the idea.

Lurker is right. I definitely heard "Don't call me Beast" but definitely not because he was embarrassed in front of Sarah... because he was "Dr. Beckett."

Also, idk why this genetic trait thing is news for some people. I, along with what I thought was most of the forum, have theorized for months now that the Ceremony girl required a particular genetic makeup. There have been several illusions to it throughout the series. Bree's dad even worked in genetics. Not to mention all the drugs and stuff. The medical field seems to have a tremendous impact on the Order. There was even a thread in Plot Discussion about the Order being a masquerade for a huge drug organization, and the Ceremony being some kind of genetic experimentation (not saying I believe this is true).

Definitely. That line from Taylor was just a conversation-killer.

And it pissed me off, because the script seems to be shifting Taylor very quickly (and without explanation) from baby-dyke vibe to boy- and man-crazy. Of course, I really liked the baby-dyke vibe, so I'm unhappy about the switch, but it also makes no sense in terms of character development.

Good point. Though for me they aren't wildly changing direction with her--yet. I don't think she's man crazy or anything--maybe she was just trying to make jonas uncomfortable? I don't know that I got the same vibe from her that you did. Although it would be interesting to have a character thrown in who is gay--no matter how much people point fingers, jonas does not count

.

Also, I think it would be nice to put a stop to this love octagon or whatever might be happening between the characters. Or, at least make it way more interesting
