You know, I never got that impression. Maybe that's why the girls are taken away from their parents?

Maybe so. Perhaps they think the adoptive parents would be less likely to form a permanent attachment.
The reason I got the impression that it causes death, by the way, is because Tachyon's parents apparently abandoned the commune where they lived right after the ceremony happened. They didn't even take the time to get their dog. Also, later, Tachy said something about how her sister always did what she was told, and then added something like "Look what that got her."

I wonder why I never picked up on that.
Anyways, I still stand with that Bree should be watching her back. The Order has tricked her several times before, and I don't see why this should be any different. To me it looks like the TAAG is going to get bigger and Jules is going to turn into a plot twisting little bitch. Like in Wickerman?
Of course, Jules doesn't have to be aware that she's a trap. She might just be thinking that she is preparing for the ceremony, and doesn't have any idea that something else could be going on.

Okay here's my theory, sorta.
Free Will. There are two types.
The real kind. This is where Bree just walks straight up to the Order and says "I'm doing the ceremony".
And the kind that makes you THINK you've had free will - but in actual fact, you've been tricked into it. Now, this would be a situation in which events lead Bree to find herself doing the ceremony not because she consciously chose to, but because strangely enough, it just worked out that way.
Julia, if she's a setup, is part of what would have to be a very well orchestrated plan to get Bree to find herself edging towards doing the ceremony totally unconsciously.
Otherwise, Jules is just another chick. She's just learning some strange languages, and she's just a fucking decoy.

Marla, I'd be really excited if your second option is what's going on.

Why didn't she just say: "HEY BREE! TAKE MY NOTEBOOK! COME SAVE ME FROM THE BIG, BAD ORDER!"
I'm hoping its that. How could they know that her parents weren't ganna be home, having their daughter tied up in their house... what if jules is an assasin like gemma, and will find Jona's guy and bang bang...haha my imagination is runnign away with me again...

There is no new girl. Bree is the only girl and now she will return to her father.

Ugh, tigress, go away!

Okay, Julia is definitely just a red herring now.
