I think you have a point there. The fact that he doesn't seem interested in her will probably make her work harder to get attention from him. She doesn't look like a girl who's used to being turned down very often.krmurr87 wrote:no i like Daniel and Taylor much better... the only reason sarah is even interested is because he's not showing her attention

I don't know about that. Before they'd even been introduced she did that whole lipstick-gun and pantsing thing to him, and then soon after, she posted in her blog that she'd found a new guy she liked (possibly him).krmurr87 wrote:the only reason sarah is even interested is because he's not showing her attention

I have a problem with D/T, because Taylor seems very young and she's just not somebody I want to see Daniel with.krmurr87 wrote:no i like Daniel and Taylor much better... the only reason sarah is even interested is because he's not showing her attention
However, I disagree that that's the only reason Sarah is interested. I genuinly sensed that she might have feelings for him, but I guess I could be wrong.
Hey. I'm Kassia!

That really is a genuine and central aspect of Daniel's character, though. He's constantly longing for romantic female companionship, such that he throws himself at the nearest one available, and gives of himself completely. It wouldn't be Daniel if he didn't.Languorous Lass wrote:My thought exactly. Must every character hook up with another character? Good point, Lurker! But this is exactly why I think DB and Sarah make a horrible match. Both of them are sort of needy and desperate, and I think they would only feed eachother's weaknesses. They each need someone to balance them out!Lurker wrote: That really is a genuine and central aspect of Daniel's character, though. Rosencrantz: Another curious scientific phenomenon is the fact that the fingernails grow after death, as does the beard.
Guildenstern: What?
Rosencrantz: Beard. . . The toenails, on the other hand, never grow at all.

I agree with Lurker here. Daniel wears his heart on his sleeve. That's what makes him so loveable. I think he really needs to be in a close relationship to feel secure, so its kind of understandable that he's quicker to form attachments than the others. I understand where Cbizzle44 is coming from, I just think its appropriate for the character.cbizzle44 wrote:must daniel fall in love with every female on the show?

That is a good point, I will acknowledge. But what drives me up a wall is people who focus on the hookups to the exclusion of all other aspects of the series. Of course, the Creators are hardly giving us anything else to work with at this point -- oh, for the days of Richard Feynman and the Order of Denderah! -- but still.Lurker wrote:That really is a genuine and central aspect of Daniel's character, though. I think that they have personality differences that will balance them out (which is definitely important, as I said elsewhere; I think it was in the Sarah Fan Club). Their emotional similarities are actually a good thing, I believe.garnet wrote:Good point, Lurker! But this is exactly why I think DB and Sarah make a horrible match. The saying goes "Opposites attract, similarities hold together." Those similarities that lie at a deeper level are the anchoring element. I think that needy, desperateness both exude would make them treat a serious relationship in a mature manner.

As much as I dislike the way the whole "relationship stuff" distracts from what was once the primary plot-line, I would agree that if there has to be a developing relationship, then Sarah and Daniel are a better match than any other pairing. One glance at her blog and it's clear that, just like Daniel, she's been looking for love in all the wrong places...Lurker wrote:I think that they have personality differences that will balance them out (which is definitely important, as I said elsewhere; I think it was in the Sarah Fan Club). It's ALL connected...
Yes, exactly! Despite her claims to the contrary, it's obvious that she wants someone committed to giving her consistent affection.trainer101 wrote:As much as I dislike the way the whole "relationship stuff" distracts from what was once the primary plot-line, I would agree that if there has to be a developing relationship, then Sarah and Daniel are a better match than any other pairing. Just like Daniel, she's been going about it the wrong way.
