I'm glad you're encourageing people to start uff da.
I just wanted to add the the first known use of 'uff da' on these forums where made by Chelseyrl in this tread:
http://www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewt ... &start=150
I was quite shoked/exited by the use of 'uff da'. At the time I had no idea it was used in America.
Thanks Sami!
I'm glad to bring Uff Da to the forums.
It is said quite a bit in Minnesota... so yes, I Uff Da'd today.

Haha, it kinda is. A lot of people use it as a joke.
I had never known if it was used anywhere else until I watched an episode of The Golden Girls.
One of the characters was from Minnesota and she had a cup that said "UFF DA!" in big red letters.
It really made me happy.
Oh, and might I add, there is an Uff Da store in Red Wing, Minnesota. I've been there. It's cool.

....now I really want to use it, but no matter how many times I read the wiki that tries to explain the correct pronunciation of the "uff" part, it still sounds wrong when I say it.
