I truly believe that the Order would put the kabosh on any videos coming from a new candidate. Bree's videos put us in contact with her and exposed the Order. Certainly the Order is aware of this and certainly they wouldn't let another girl get away from their grasp in the same manner that Bree did. I simply don't believe that they're that dumb.

If BDJ are busy trying to find out who the new girl is, it will divide their attention from other matters, including the status of Jonas' parents. (Whether they're alive or dead, following their tracks might be the only way to discover the way to cause the Order's downfall). As well, I think it would be a logical way to bait Bree into their midst again.

I know that many people think that they would have grabbed Bree at the beach if they still wanted her, but please, keep in mind that a VITAL part of this ceremony is that Bree must CHOOSE to do it of her own FREE WILL. So it would have been pointless to capture or kill Bree on the beach: it wouldn't fit into their plan.

I firmly believe that the "emergence" of a "new girl" is a tactic chosen by the Order to manipulate Bree.

I'm beginning to worry that the Creators purposely won't use this plotline now simply because we called them on it! :P

Nah -- we've called them on some plot developments before. Like when DB was kidnapped, a bunch of people thought that the only way Bree was going to be able to get out of doing the ceremony would be to get help from Tachyon and Brother. And that's exactly what happened -- in a vid that was totally awesome, and surprised the hell out of just about everybody.

So don't worry -- if that's what the Creators want to do, they can still pull it off.

I think we've established that Bree has to do the Ceremony out of Free will, and I think the New girl angle could be an attempt to get Bree to sacrifice herself to save the new girl. But then again, it's possible that Jessica Rose wants to leave lonelygirl15, so they need a new girl to keep the story going. In which case at some point Bree will either get killed, or become an invisible character like Tachyon.

I don't think Jesica Rose is leaving. I think that would destroy the whole thing.

I'm sure this theory has been brought up before. Discuss it here, I suppose. :)

good theory sidewalkflight. :) or they both could be just fans. who knows. :?:

Order-bait

I've been hoping that this was Order-bait for Bree. I would still assume that doing the ceremony under bribery or deception would violate free will too, but they tried it before by kidnapping Daniel, AND if the whole religion is fake, the Order would probably not be that scrupulous about it (just enough on the surface not to alienate the followers?).

I thought that the "No one in the Order checks the videos except Opaphid, and they're gone now" thing was an excuse (albeit a feeble one) for the creators not to give Bree, Jonas, and Daniel private transmissions, since so many poo-pooed that idea. That whole cover is blown if they have the Order online, making videos of their own.

I am wondering why the Order would have their decoy mess up all three langages. The "mes nomes" is particularly grating! I mean, who did the Order hire to script that thing?!

Are you suggesting that they're both just fans in real life or that the creators would actually work a video that they created into the plot as fanfic acknowledged by the characters, like "We thought this girl was real, but she was just a 'fan' mimicing Bree?" Are they going to work their internet celebrity into the plot in some kind of self-referential way? That could get a little messy. For one, I think they'd only acknowledge planted fanfic in the actual videos, since they wouldn't want to endorse or point people toward watching something that they have no quality control over.

I'm positive that Jules is not ACTUAL fanfic, since Nikki B and Bree acknowledged her in their videos. I trust that the creators are too intelligent and ethical to thrust that kind of attention on some poor teenaged fan who is likely ill-equipped to deal with the attention.

Maybe it is a trap. Maybe Bree will try to be the hero and she'll get there and not want another girl to have to go through with the ceremony and she'll do it herself? maybe not though.

OK, this is really a side point, but didn't Bree decide not to do the ceremony on Daniel's advice (not ours)?

Maybe Daniel's advice was the way the Creators introduced our advice?

they don't need anything elaborate to get bree and co. to "let their guard down". just about anything will do. their "guard" is down a whole lot more than it is up.
more like "if you look around, all over the internet world there may be a new girl...or maybe not...get back to me if you find out...don't worry about us, nothing to see here..."

LMAO. So true, eric.
Susan wrote:Maybe Daniel's advice was the way the Creators introduced our advice?
Susan, this could be quite true, but the point was made earlier in the thread that the Order wouldn't want Bree and "new girls" on the Internet because our advice persuaded Bree not to do the ceremony. I'm simply making the point that, according to the storyline, it was actually Daniel who talked Bree out of doing the ceremony. Daniel knew her in RL, so the Internet is not the blame for Bree not doing the ceremony.

I was going to say something like this. Maybe the order thinks they can get her to do the ceremony if she knows some other poor girl will have to do it. She almost did the ceremony in order to save Daniel. And Tachyon's not around anymore....
