I thought the most recent Nikki B vid was helpful because she said that 'a source' told her that only OpAphid, Tachyon and Brother watched the BD&J videos. That clears up the problem I've been having recently, thinking that the Order is watching every video that BD&J put out publicly.

I still think they shouldn't put those videos public because I don't think (not positive) that Bree et al. know that the Order isn't watching them... They can't know that, can they? But, at least it helps me undersatnd why the Order hasn't just come and scooped them up from Alex's house in Mexico.

Either that or Alex does work for the order and they are ploting something right now.

I never pictured you as a blond, I imagined you as being a raven haired vixen for some strange reason.

I think this is an attempt to move back the clock before OpAphid, in other words they are saying let's just pretend that OpAphid was never made canon, now we can go back to the fictional premise that existed in the beginning, the Order, Lucy, the Deacons et all aren't aware of, and so do not watch the vblogs....... OK?

When was that ever the premise? They would have always been stupid to not be watching the vlogs - and they actually were watching them before OpAPHID ever became canon. Remember them telling Bree to trick Daniel into thinking the ceremony would be on October 12? They knew about her videos and his.

We have disagreed on this point before Lurker, but if it was stupid then then it is doubly stupid now!

Maybe they didn't know about the videos. Maybe the just wanted her to tell him.

Bree said in "I Lied To Daniel" that they'd found out Daniel was filming them and then told her to lie so as to trick him. Since Bree wasn't seeing Daniel in-person at that time and wasn't talking to him on the phone - and since they already knew about his filming - they must have known about hers. They wanted her to tell him through a video.

They also had pictures of him filming them, by the way.

Good point. I don't think the creators have thought this all the way through.

If we assume that the Hymn of One has been Bree's religion since the beginning then there is one common thread that ties the religious faction with OpAphid (the enforcement faction) - Lucy.

My take is this:
- There are multiple factions within the Order

- The Hymn of One and OpAphid are two separate and distinct factions - independent of each other.

- Lucy is with the Hymn of One and acts as, or, acted as liaison with OpAphid.

- OpAphid was called upon by the Hymn of One liaison (Lucy) to assist with 'compelling' Bree to participate in the ceremony. That is why Lucy is seen with members of OpAphid in "Human Ransom".

- OpAphid failed to deliver and a rogue agent resorted to traditional (extreme) OpAphid measures in an attempt to deliver Bree.

- The Watcher stepped stepped in and "terminated" the rogue agent.

- Hymn of One (Lucy) terminated the 'contract' with OpAphid, deciding instead to handle matters internally.

- Tachyon has no personal interest in Bree - her vendetta is against OpAphid. To her, Bree was only significant while Oppy was interested in her. No more interest by Oppy means no more interest by Tachyon.

- Since Lucy has seen the videos from the beginning, we should assume that she sees them now. Whether she shares that information with other members of the Order is unknown - it appears, for whatever reason, she does not. Perhaps she has motives of her own.

An admirable effort, trainer, but why are we assuming that Lucy was the only one in the Hymn of One to know about the videos? Bree said others advised her in tricking Daniel.

As for Tachyon, I don't know why we'd really assume that her vendetta is with OpAphid. 12 years ago OpAphid was probably a kid herself. I'd assume Tachyon's vendetta would be against the entire Order - all the people who screwed up her life and are responsible for whatever happened with her sister.

I really don't think there's any bandage for all this. As of now, I pretty much give up on concerning myself with plot consistency. I'd still like to see them give mind to it, but I'm going to just try to hope the videos will be fun from here on. If they're consistent, great. If not, well ... it really won't be asking for more suspension of disbelief than now, will it?
