Do you think the message to Bree in Bree Chat written by the messenger has anything to do with this. It doesn't make sense to me, but the message-messenger thing has me thinking. I know it doesn't make sense for Alex to make this message on the orders of the Order but it's just weird. Also all/most of the A are capitalized (which has me thinking about the A in OpAphid).

I personally think that the message from the messenger is strictly a fan getting involved. The in-character sections of the board are so infrequently visited by any of the main characters, it's hard for me to believe that is where they would start with a new character.

Plus, something about the wording just doesn't say "professional writer" to me. Capitalizing the A's just looks too obvious. The fact that they claim to work "under" Alex, who I don't think is high enough up in the Order to have underlings doesn't sound right either. And the fact that during the message they said they had to "return now". Ummm, your typing on a computer...where are you returning from/to? I

I would be very surprised if the_messenger turned out to be anything but a fan trying to interact in the storyline.

I strongly agree. If it were from the Creators, it would have been established as it's own topic just as Plot is a topic, or Bree is a topic. That can only be done by admin people and that would be the way to validate it's veracity.

you know... you're probably right... it may be a fan... but notice it's also the_messenger's first post. Why establish cannon from an "underground" character with an entire topic right away? Bree and Daniel have referenced threads i their sections before... let's see how it plays out...
