They work, I will probably use one again were we to go to another crowded event (four our youngest). I just don't think they are needed for my everyday use.

haha no offense. I just think about how much I used to hate even the idea of them BK (before kids), and then when we went to Disney World, it just made me feel so much more secure.

Side note: I had the leash wrapped around my waist and tied to my pants (as I held onto my son's hand) because I refused to hold it like I leash due to the image of me walking a German Shepard that kept popping up in my head.

LOL at least with kids they dont just poop on the ground for you to pick up with a little baggie to carry it around with, at least MOST kids dont....

I think the leashes are embarrassing for the kids, but in places where there are huge crowds, I can't think of a better alternative.

yeah, i feel bad for the kids who wear them to the grocery store (and yes, i've seen that), but it seems like the safest thing to do at disney world or something

back on topic, i think someone in the bree chat told her to check for incisions that she didn't recognize. she had one of those vague bubbly "oh i didnt think of that thanks you're smart!" answers... so i don't know...

This is a little sidetracked, but ill say it anyway. I think that the mark of the anti-christ might actually be a cross or something, because nowadays we have a lot of christian "spinoffs" that seem to collect money and preach absolute nonsense. Hell, I even saw something about a lady starting a christian cult, and its primary purpose is to make people lose weight through faith. Weird.

Well, maybe it is not that sidetracked. Cults do collect money from their victims, and if the Hymn of One is a large cult, that could definately explain the resources they posses. AND coupled with the sales of perscription drugs they might do, they may have a ridiculous amount of money.

Unless Tachyon can somehow find a way to disrupt them financially, they are really outgunned. The Money is the answer. If you can cut that off by hitting strategic locations and fronts via guerrilla warfare tactics, you might stand a chance. It would be very hard to track down individual cells that were only working loseley with one another, no matter how big you are.

Off topic, but had to add my 2 cents about the kids on leashes -- there are kids with cognitive disabilities (that look completely "normal") that have "elopement" issues. This means that given any opportunity, they will wander off without a second thought. Kids with autism also don't always realize the danger of strangers, cars in the road, or climbing shelves in the grocery store (among many other dangers).

These leashes aren't just for lazy parents or highly populous areas. They are ways of keeping kids safe who might not have the ability to keep themselves safe.

You can't look at a kid and tell that he/she has autism, so I wouldn't judge a parent who has their kids on one of those things (not that I'm saying anyone here was, just giving another reason why people might be using one).

And....back to subject! (sorry!)

OT -- again -- Juli, I've never seen a 2 or 3 year old who cared if they were on leashes. Now if I'd've seen a pre-teen on one, I'd go up and punch their parents' lights out! LOL

Back on topic--what biblical prophecy are you referencing, Juli? Just curious.
