I would say the kidnapper used thier ride to transport them. When he died they went back to the car. Usually the simplest answer is the best and least likely to make your head hurt.
If they did tie her up I do not think they would have left her. Especially because of the fact that they tied up Jonas and left. They left him and he escaped. Hopefully they would be able to learn from a mistake.
But it really doesn't matter because they are still in Alex's apartment at the end of the video.

Wow, awesome eyes gid. If Alex is holding the camera, it makes me wonder why Bree goes from "Shut up! Shut Up!" to her and then all "heh... now what?"
Does that make sense?
