No, Tach has said in emails that she employs actresses to play her in the vids.

I don't want to see her...it's so much more exciting AND she can maintain her "superhero" status this way.

A Tachyon is a particle of four-dimensional physics. In e=mc^2, a Tachyon is so far into the E end of that, that it theoretically is far beyond and cannot slow down to the speed of light. You can't see something like that (despite Star Trek graphics) because it's moving so fast it's dodging between light particles.

That allegory/comparison in place, it has always made perfect sense that we'd never see her.

Nice, SoulAndroid! Yes, that's why Tachyon chose that name, right? I don't think that we will see Tachyon. I'm not even sure there's an actress for her! Plus, it's her style not to get seen. And she'd probably still be too paranoid the computer would be hacked or something.

I can't decide if I don't want to see her because it would ruin the mysterique, or that I do want to see because now that all the characters have not only seen her but actually been in her presence, so when they talk about her I get annoyed because I can't picture it.

I think her mysterious persona is part of why she is so exciting. If she turned out to look like, say...Britney Spears, wouldn't we all be pissed?

I don't think any real woman could live up to the coolness of the Tachy in my mind!
