i think this is setting us up for a tachyon/opaphid video. BD&J are going to see it and be like "well, we said we wouldnt post videos anymore, but thats the only way to communicate with these people" and then respond to it

at least, that's what i HOPE happens. i miss oppy!

well, when i say i miss her, i mean i miss the really creepy videos and heavy eyeliner. i didn't acutally like her.
but she gave a face (or part of one) to the order, which gave it a whole lot more depth

Ummm, So I went over and read that thread in website changes and I really like it. I mean, that way Jonas or Bree or Daniel can share things with us that they aren't sharing with each other. I dig it. AKA...Jonas can tell us he's in love with Bree. Or for those of you who believe this...that he's Brees bro. lol. I dig the idea. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I'm good at that.

How does that relate to this at all? I think it's a great idea.
All that will change is that some videos will say at the beginning "private video." So you know that not everyone can actually see the video.
I think the word private is confusing people. It won't ACTUALLY be private. It's just called private for the sake of the story.

This will do one thing: put the audience in a position of higher knowledge than some/all the characters. It will help fill in plot holes. It will help us get the answers we keep begging for. Everyone complains we don't get answers. This is their solution. If they just told us answers in the videos the way it is now, everyone would complain that they are being stupid and the Order will see it. This is the best solution, so please don't make it into another thing to whine about.

Also, I know that people are wondering why Bree uploaded this video even though she said no more videos. She said right after that "I'm just going to upload this and that's it." It's kind of hard to hear though.
But I have a slight hunch that the series will go on.

I'm not enthusiastic about the private videos idea, but I'm not against it, either. I'll make up my mind when the change happens. But I will say that I'd be reluctant to watch any more videos if I had to join the ARG, solve clues, etc. in order to obtain a password to watch the videos. On the one hand, I probably wouldn't have to solve the clues myself (since there are plenty of people to do it), but on the other hand, if that weren't the case, it would take up too much of my time. But from what I've read here, that's more speculation, and probably won't be the case.

ok, it seems that a lot of people are not getting the point here...
the private transmissions, would only exist in the breeniverse, you would be free to watch every single video without using any password.
these private transmissions are just part of the plot, something from the breeniverse, not the real world.

I totally agree, exanimate. We will get to see more clearly what's going on in the minds and hearts of the characters, and possibly, what's going on inside the Order.

The only problem I see is noobs having trouble navigating the site, or just giving up in frustration.

ok. so its established, btw, that that isn't actually the plan. anyone can watch the private transmissions, except the other characters
but... i actually really like what you're describing. not for this private transmisssion idea, but for something else in the ARG. that would be pretty cool.
