That didn't stop the order from finding his parents. And really, it would only make them sitting ducks, moreso than they already are. They always have to be a fuel tank away from land and even if they could stay out there forever fuel-wise, they'd need food. And fresh water. Not to mention, Jonas hasn't been sailing since he was little, and Bree and Daniel have, to our knowledge, never done it. They'd need some equipment that'd make them easy to track.

I didn't say a sailboat, and I also didn't say they should never dock at a port.

Did anyone notice when they were running, J was on Bree's right, and holding hands, then he is suddenlt running on her left, and they hold hands again. I don't know if it was edited like that on purpose, or if they were running circles? just curious what you might think.

It was weird that Daniel was having such a hard time keeping up. Jonas was drinking too, after all. I attributed it to the alcohol as well, but I get the feeling he isn't quite as fit as Jonas. And I guess Bree, too.. lol

Possible reasons why Daniel couldn't keep up:

1. he slowed down to ge the camera out and got a few steps behind. duh.

2. the entire "chase" was staged

3. he's not an experienced drunk (Jonas hinted that he had been drunk many more times than DB)

4. he's out of shape compared to the boxer and the girl who just completed training

Or...
He was a lot more drunk than Jonas because he had a fifth of Jack Daniel's hidden under the mattress.

C'mon people, he was working on a drunk in the part of the vid in the hotel room.

Bree looks exactly the same to me. I don't know how much of her training was physical as it was just Tachyon giving her verbal advice... idk, I can't imagine she's that much more "badass" than before.

i daniel was mostly lagging behind because, as garnet pointed out, the vid was possibly staged and he was more concerned with getting footage than anything else

They mention a few times that the footage they take is important in their fight against the order. That's probably why he never stopped filming throughout the whole thing.
