Juli: I hadn't thought much about his drinking
altho now that you bring it up it probably will.
after all.. the order is a type of 'religion' no? they're likely to highlight his 'sin' by using it against him
and i totally agree with you on jonas... the more the 'obvious' order fails, the better a position he turns out to be.
and he's waaaaay too quiet for his own good.... especially at that party.
suspicious...

Yeah, he is just too...everything; too convenient, too quiet, too forgiving, too compliant (hmmm). I've just never really trusted him.
As for the drinking and sin, I hadn't actually tied them together like that. Nice catch. I was just thinking that he's easier to manipulate or fool when drunk (especially by a woman); he also obviously loses his inhibitions quite quickly under the influence.

on that note... where's the thread that talks about what op aphid stands for? and how did y'all figure it out?
