Wow this thread just totally confused me. Expecially when pink threw up that pic I was like
BTW national talk like a pirate day is in Oct/Nov. It's either the end of Oct. or the beginning of Nov. The only reason I know is we were supposed to have a dress up day at the school I work at that coordinated with the talk like a pirate day.

That is so cool! I wish I had known about TLAP when I was in HS. I would have been doing the dressing up and everything too.

A couple of them were on Wife Swap last year.

I tried to talk like a pirate for an entire day years ago. I ceased my "arrr, matey!" mutterings after continually receiving disgusted looks.
