I hear ya!! This is kinda different but, this girl I was friends with until about a week ago, well, we were best friends but we had a falling out. I am very good friends with her sister aswell, we didn't hang out 24/7 but we texted and talked a lot and would hang out a few times a week, sometimes with my best friend sometimes without. But my best friend always knew about it. Anyway, after our fight she FORBID me to ever step foot inside her house, hang out with her sisters...everything. Even though we were friends before. And it's another long story but I'm very close to her 3 year old niece...Their family took care of her when her other sister was in Iraq and I would see the little girl everyday. Well around October she moved down to tn with her mom. And last Saturday she came up here to visit and my best friend forbid me from seeing her neice too. Don't worry, I will hang out with her sister and her neice anyway because they're like family now anyway. But I guess my point is that ... people get weird about their family. It's almost like they don't want their friends to be close to their family in any way...friendship, dating, whatever. It's strange to me but, oh well.

BWC, you have certainly chosen the right avatar (and that's not in a bad way; cynicism is a wonderful thing on this forum).

Jonas seems kind of akward around Auntie Alex (goofy kiss on the forehead, overprotectiveness, jealousy towards Daniel) but that could just be because he's not used to dealing with family.

The insane seeming jealously could just be because of that. Family is just weird, you're supposed to love them unconditionally, yet sometimes you don't even know them very well. Jonas doesn't seem to have interacted with 'Alex' much other than over the phone. He could just be a bit overwhelm (who could blame him.)
