That's not fair. As far as I've seen, the members of this forum are some of the most accepting and goodhearted people I've ever met. It's a refreshing breath of air compared to those I meet in person every day. No one here is being homophobic at all.

On the subject of Jonas's sexual orientation, I think it would ruin the Daniel-Jonas friendship they have to make him interested in more than a friendship. Honestly, I love the 'guy-time' they have together and I don't see anything 'gay' about it.

It also isn't fair to judge someone's sexuality by his hair style or something he said once. I really think the Creators just mean to make him a goofball and somewhat socially awkward, as he's had a bizarre childhood compared to most guys his age.

Like many others, I don't care one way or the other. The only thing I want to say on the subject is that until someone comes out and states their sexual orientation - or overtly implies it in a way that doesn't seem meant as humor - assuming they're homosexual or heterosexual is pointless and possibly foolish. If anything, you'd probably be safer assuming they're bi or asexual.

Anyway, it really doesn't have to matter.

Agreed. It's not a part of the storyline as of yet, and until it is this speculation is really quite useless.

Actually, I think both of the guys are in love with Bree. That is why they keep throwing around that "having Bree all to yourself" thing.

I want it the way it is right now. A subtle inner and outer struggle between the boys over Bree.

I really don't see how it could possibly alter the plot of the story if he were gay. I see that beastisdaaman started this poll, and also started another nearly identical poll in Jonas' Character discussion thread. This is also Character Discussion, and not Plot Discussion.

I am attempting a merge, but I have never merged polls before. (Notice the subtle inuendo!) I am also directing everyone to the other poll, located here, because I don't know if attempting to merge these polls will work. I fear it may open a rift in the space-time continuum.

I also thought I might add that I really don't think Jonas is homosexual. Ever seen Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? There have been a couple of bohemian-looking guys on that show: Jonas could probably use their help!

One of my best friend's is a homo (he'd rather be referred to as that than 'gay'), why would this bother me if Jonas was? I just think the constant inquiry of his sexuality is meaningless.

I'm sorry, Its not that I want Jonas to be striaght but honestly I think this issue should be left out of the series. It seems way to soap-opera-esque to me. Religion is contreversial enough, no need to bring in sexuality as well.
